A man left a message (through our recording machine)to us that his name is Chris Young (?).  He mentioned that we have owed money from the City Bank credit card, we need to pay to avoid being paid more and more.  He didn't point out what debt, and what member in our family owes the debt.  He left his phone number is 800-713-8797. That happened on 05/07/08.
I have contacted him today (5/8/08)at 12:30 PM.  A lady answered the phone and said he was not in the office and if I needed to pay the debt.  I asked her what debt we owe and who has to pay the debt.  The line, then was disconnected.  I called again right away to ask the same question, then the line again to be disconnected by the same lady.  At that moment I understood that the line was disconnected twice on purpose not by accident.  
I called back, and asked what reasons she disconnected the line.  No answers from her and she disconnected the line.
I present this weir case to you for a serious investigation.  Is there any cheating plot from these people in this office?  We feel that we have been bothered, and it may happen to many other people. Your investigation will be appreciated by us and by all other people.

I got a similar message and the same hang ups when I called back.  I have my phone set up to block caller ID.  When I get a phone number from one of these slime ball solicitors I repeatedly dial their number and don't say anything.  I figure it ties up their line and gives them some of the frustration they give me.

Remember to block caller ID and call 1-800-713-8797 until you feel even.

My calls were in regards to debt consilidation. I was also met with being hung up on when asked not to call anymore. I receive at least two calls a week for several weeks now.

I started calling them and talking to them. I play along and give bs names and when it gets to a certain point, I tell them nevermind and to take me off the call list. They hang up immediately. To play along just tell them you have 10,000+ in medical debt.

I have now posted their number on several websites in hopes others will join me in tieing up their lines.

Another fun thing to do is use ip-relay instead of talking directly to them. The middle person has to repeat eveything said by you to the other party.

These people call me at least 2-3 times a week.  I call the number back and each time the same lady hangs up on me.  From now on I'm calling back just to leave a nice loud horn in their ear.  Maybe they can use their "debt redcution allowance program" to purchase a hearing aid.
