IRS scam call. Computerized voice says to call back to the same number. Yeah, right.

IRS scam.  Called previously from 800-561-0796.  Have your Apple gift cards, Walmart gift cards, Bitcoin, or Ethereum ready for IRS payments.  Law enforcement is on the way!

They say they’re from the IRS and I have to pay or an arrest warrant is on its way. Pre recorded

Called saying IRS issued a warrant for my arrest - just paid them thousands in taxes so I'm pretty sure they are happy with me.

A foreign (possibly Indian) caller claiming to be from the IRS.

I've gotten several calls from this number advising that I owe the IRS tons of money and that a warrant has been issued for my arrest. I called back to request my number be added to their do not call list. I was told I could pay $100 and they will never call me again, otherwise they won't remove my number. Needless to say, I told them they were out of their [***] mind and have blocked the number.

As a CPA, I called the number after one of my clients received several calls from this number.  After a brief conversation, say about 10 minutes, I was hung up on.  I don't think they liked the fact that I was calling them out on their scam.  They claimed it was us "dumb Americans" for sending money to an unsolicited individual at a random phone number.  Please do not send them any money.

Received two calls claiming a lawsuit from the IRS. Garbage. Ignored and blocked.

Scam, Not sure why our Congress can't get off their buts and do something to STOP this kind of Fraud!!!

I am very surprised this is still going on, I have reported them to the IRS and made a claim with the FTC, I would say over an year ago

Most of the crooks are in India so there is little our government can do.

Multiple calls, didn't answer, listen to vmail. Computerized voice says'This call is officially your final notice from the Internal Revenue Service the I.R.S. has filed a lawsuit against you and there is an arrest warrant under your name for more information you can reach us 1-800-717-1593.'  But searches say: 118-071-7159 extension 3 Iraq

called them back for giggles. after i said they were going to jail he said some profanity and hung up. my husband called them back on my phone and of course, they wouldn't answer. bottom feeders for sure.

Recorded message stated the following: Notice from the Internal Revenue Service: there is a lawsuit filed against you, an arrest warrant has been issued in your name. For more information call 1-800-717-1593. Repeat, call 1-800-717-1593.  SCAM ALERT

Received calls re same issue of IRS law suit & threat of arrest warrants.  Interesting since we recently received an IRS refund for a four-digit amount after these calls started coming.
