Investigator somebody called my cell phone from a blocked number and said papers tried to be served at my address this morning, but no one answered the door ---- Liar.  Someone has been there all day.  Said I needed to return a call to court mediations at 800-718-0470.  

Did you call them? Do you think its real? I fell for a fake once and paid over 1000! :(

Got the same call today. Claimed to be a criminal investigator from the county court. Had my full name and last four of my social, but that was it. Tried to call back and got an automated system which identified itself as mediation for internet and check fraud, neither of which I've committed. Did not identify a jurisdiction or county, and did not have a directory or operator. It's a crime to pose as law enforcement. Reverse lookups of the numbers find a BBB complaint and a hokie website not tied to law enforcement in any way. I've been getting calls like this for years. I don't know how these people fail to end up in jail.
