I've had a few calls from this number over the last two days.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  No one is leaving a message.

Calls but leaves no message

I called the number back and it's Verizon calling to offer a special promotion. I told them they should identify themselves on the call when they are using private information to call.

Number has called twice.  No i.d.  shown.  I did not answer.  Left no message.   I do not answer calls that do not properly identify caller.

Don't answer calls that have unknown name.

Got a call from this number. did not answer. No ID. No message left.

Claiming to be Verizon wanting me to upgrade my cell phone with a promotional deal. I told him I didn't need to as my phone works fine. His response was, "you need to upgrade eventually".......I hung up & blocked the number.

Caller id showed a number from Indonesia, claimed phone had a virus yadda yadda. Blocked.

same experience of earlier poster. I do not answer unknown numbers, especially if they don't leave a message like this one. nuisance calls.

1-800-721-1087 calls my phone multiple times a day without leaving a voice mail message. 3-5 times per day is excessive, and no caller ID: sketchy. I recommend NEVER answering from this number.

They call that often and yet you still haven't blocked the number?!

Didn't answer but called it back and the call was answered:  Verizon Wireless

Caller said they were Verizon and wanted to discuss my plans and usage. But no ID on my phone. Told them I'd go into the store to discuss changing plans.

I usually am not able to answer as I am at work when they call, but I was on lunch, so I decided to entertain. Claimed to be calling from Loyalty Dept of Verizon & offering $150 bill credit for upgrading phone at 1/2-price, which he followed w/ the phrase "Boom shacka lacka!" I said, "How do I redeem in-store?" to which he replied "It is by phone w/ this special deal only." I asked for return phone #, & he said he could call back as return phone calls go through a "Round Robin." Long story short, I said "Let's cut through it--Who do I call w/ Verizon to verify this is not a scam?" He was good at skirting the question & assuring not a scam. I said, "Let me ask a different way: What information will you be asking me for today?" He said, "Nothing...except maybe a credit card if you don't have one on file." I said, "I will not be providing any credit card info by phone," to which he replied, "Then you are an idiot!" Doesn't sound like Verizon to me!! BLOCKED!

Got a call yesterday and today around 8am HST.  No answer and no message.

Called several times last few days.  No message.

Wow!!!  Thank you for sharing.  I’ll be blocking them now.

Received a call from them, they claim to be Verizon. Could not answer questions. We hung up and called 611, they told me it Was Not Verizon.
Don't Trust Them!

Claimed to be Verizon. Said one of the phones on our account was eligible for an upgrade. I said I'd go into the store to do it.  He said it's only available on the phone... Yeah... Right... Hung up and blocked.
