Sorry I missed your call.....don't answer 1-800 numbers. Looked @ SS web site to see if any info what posted.

This number says if you are a hot chick press 1 and if you are a hot guy press 2.  this number is listed for social security office is Sioux city Iowa and another place,  What gives????

i called this number by mistake thinking it was social security.  it isn't.  it asked if i wanted a free cruise.  i said yes.  really dumb.

Be careful!  800-772-1213 is Social Security.  800-722-1213 is NOT.  Seems like some sort of promotional number for a "free cruise" or "free first alert"

I mis dialed also and they offered me a free cruise too. No thanks

This phone # is not the Social Security Administration.  It is false.

I had this phone number 1-(800)-722-1213 in my phone for over a year thinking it was the correct phone for the Social Security Administration & everytime I called it was a scammer recording "pretending to be the Social Security Administration" & asked me if I was interested in a "Free Medical Alert System" then press 1 or if not press 2 -- then when I pressed 2 the scammer recording "hungup" on me. I realized the scammer phone number I had in my phone was wrong by one digit & the correct phone for the Social Security Administration is 1-(800)-772-1213. I always go to the Social Security Office in person after that & don't know where I got the wrong phone number since I corrected it in my phone.

Scam call pretending to be social security and asking me to press 1 to speak with an agent because my ss account was compromised and would be locked.  I did not press 1.  Instead I looked up the number and found these scam reports.

Same thing happened to me. I had a form misprinted with the 1800-722 number which said it was social security  number. Even some govt sites give this number out incorrectly. These ppl know this and are using it to take advantage of people calling that number thinking it SSA. The number needs to be shut down.

This number called me with an automated message from "Amazon" saying a charge for a Mac book pro was on my account and to call if I didn't order it.  The original call came from a local spoofed phone number and this was the number I was given when I said I was busy but wanted to take care of the matter and need to call back.

There is NO charge (check your Amazon account).  This is a CROOK trying to get remote access  to  your computer!
