Saying that my social security  benefits we'll no longer continue

Variations of this number call multiple times a day for the last several days. Voicemail advises that my SS number will be permanently locked. Whatever that means.

Got call. Did not pick up. No voice mail left

got a message telling me my social security benefits will be cancelled until further clearance and permanently unless I oress one to connect with department officials.

TOTAL PHISHING SCAM!
Have gotten 3 calls from this number and 2 other very similar numbers. I don't answer and the auto-recording gets cut off at the beginning each time so I don't know what it's about. However, the half messages I get are:

"Administration office or press one now in case we do not hear from you. Your social will be blocked permanently to connect now, press one and you will automatically be connected with the concerned Department official."

Another website that tracks phone numbers says it is a scam call pretending to be the Social Security Administration saying that your SS will be blocked.

TOTAL SCAM! That SS office will NEVER call you, they will send a letter in the mail. BE CAREFUL.

Said suspicious activity on social security number and that it had been suspended!
