caller not recognized by caller ID.

Very annoying because after that caller hangs up my answering machine keeps saying 'if you  like to make a call please hang up and dial again' until I go to the phone and turn it on and then hang up.

I was not able to answer the telephone when they called, however they did not leave a message.

I got a few calls from this number.  There were no messages.  But the calls kept coming.  When I tried to pick up it wouldn't connect to an actual line.  However, I called it back and found it is the University of Scranton Alumni Office (supposedly).  However, I find that to be curious since they don't have my number.  So I have no idea.....Good luck to all else who get random calls from this number.
