I get calls from these people every few weeks, very annoying, don't know how they got my extension.  Always a woman asking for the person who handles safety issues.  I always direct her to the receptionist yet they continue to call my office line!

got a call from this number but did not answer (thanks to these postings) they did no leave a message but the caller ID gave the name as Unknown Name

The call was re-directed to me from our receptionist, so I never answer.  Now, I will tell the receptionist not to re-direct calls asking for a safety person.

Asked for "Human Resource Manager" did not want to provide any information regarding the call.

Caller ask for a specific name-I told them they were not here and they ask if anybody else handled human resources. I replied "no". They hung up.

incessant calls from this number.  never a voicemail.

Called my cell AND my desk phone.  What the heck!  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Company is http://www.blr.com/about/contact/ and they have a lot of HR documents hidden behind their "free" login (aka 10-day trial that you secure with a credit card).

I'm guessing you could email them at service@blr.com and tell them to stop calling.  I may suggest using an anonymous email service though!

I received a call today and although the caller didn't say anything they breathed heavy.  eekkk gross

called saying we had to participate in a online walk through for some saftey training, wanted to talk to HR.

Am on DNC list.

some biotch wanted the HR manager, i asked her if she had a name and of course she gave me one, only i dont know who the hell she is talking about.  so i told her, no one here by that name, so she says well can i just speak to the manager, as soon as i said "i need", she hung up on me.  so im going to wait until they call back and then its on.

Went on their company website and chatted them telling them to remove my number

When I answer the telephone (I am the receptionist), the caller hangs up. This happens quite frequently, even with other calls from toll-free numbers. What is the purpose?

I too get dead air when answering this number. And let me tell you, it is suuuuper frustrating because the greeting that I have to say isn't short! I just went to the website that Chelby listed above and had the live chat. I asked that we be removed from their list, the person said they would do that. Hope so!! I have the transcript saved...

I receive at least one call a day from this number as well. The caller never leaves a message.
