Criminals calling with ID: TOLL FREE CALL  No message left.

I live in a condo. I can't possibly use the type of "improvements" these people are selling. But I can't even tell them that because it is a computer generated call. I want these calls to STOP!  Why is there no way that my phone company can help me block these calls?

This is interesting.  Apparently a solar (just guessing) scammer spoofed Southern Calif Edison's number.

Called twice within an hour while I was not home.  CID showed a V# and the 800 number (but not SCE).  I was curious so I called the 800 number back and found it was a SCE office.  I asked them why they had called me. After checking their records, they said that particular office was involved in some kind of special program but that I was not on their list.  She said they had not called me and that others were reporting the same thing had happened to them.

Are you happy with the time you invested in your "curiosity"? Before calling back again, please take another minute or so from your time just to think that "curiosity killed the cat" (and also your valuable time)

(800) 736-4777: Well, well, it seems that they are striking again on December 6, 2016. As it is a rule at home, we do not answer numbers we do not recognize. Since they left no message, our answering machine is happy too.

Caller id was a VOIP set of numbers.  Call was blocked by the roboguy.

Scammers probably.  Blocked them.

Another garbage phone call

Tracking scammers, unfortunately, has become something close to a civic duty. I get at least one call every day from some who says they're calling "on behalf" of some public agency and who, it often turns out, have no association with it. Older persons are seen as particularly easy pickings and give away SS numbers and other financial info.

Unknown number, no message, caller blocked. Never answer unknown numbers.
