never said who they were ,only that they were doing a promotion for a bank..promised i had won a trip ..money..etc..all free ..just need bank acct # because you are responsible for taxes!!!..                             watch out... this is a scam!!!!  do not give out your information!!!
this is similar number to my bank...i just happened to misdial the number and got them.

Just now, this morning, I had dialled 1-800-741-1115 thinking that I had dialled the customer service number for Comerica Bank in San Antonio, Texas because I wanted to check up on my account to see where I'm at on my money situation.  In fact, I dialled TWICE to be sure I wasn't just hearing things, and I got this weird call asking people to take a survey that would consist of just a couple questions & you're supposed to punch in "1" if you're 50 & over.  Otherwise, punch "#".  I kept getting this weird robo-intro and I was upset thinking that "What's the matter?  Direct Express won't let people check on their own accounts anymore??"  To make a long story short, I checked on my statement (good thing I get paper statements & not online ones) and found that I had dialled the 800 number when I should've dialled the 888 prefix.  Yeah, I was told I had won a trip to the Bahamas.  Needless to say, I hung up because I was upset and figured "screw the Bahamas!  I need to check up on my money.  Don't worry, folks, I didn't give out any personal information of any kind.

I was asked over and over for $1.95 and I would receive a 100 gift card..and for 39.95 a month to become a member..I kept saying no, they hung up on me! I was calling an "888" number, but dialed "800 741 1115 instead! SCAMMERS! and liars,I told them I was simply calling to get my balance, they said "after this, i will connect you" but this [***] spoke quickly..which tipped me off....

What ever happened with this? I did the same thing and went all the way through it didn’t notice it wasn’t the bank till he hung up on me. But I gave him all the info

Did they take money out of your account? Because this recently happened to me and I’m scared I’ll lose my last unemployment check
