They called me looking for someone named "Nakita" My name is Joe. Apparently Nikita had owned my phone number previosly. Constant harassing phonecalls looking for her.. I keep telling them she doesnt have this number anymore. Still this "business" keeps calling me. Here is their address: 3696 Ulmerton Rd Clearwater Fl USA

This is Melissa. This is not a marketing call. Please call 866.761.2178, today. You must return this call. Called 3x in one day. Received the message on voicemail on Saturday when I returned from vacation. Called back the number, but was unable to make contact with anyone. Looked up number here to realize it is a debt collector. If I owe a debt, I will pay it. No threats yet.

Someone from this number has been harassing me for weeks.  Usually there is no message left but today, someone who cannot speak clearly, first called me by my correct name then said they were looking for "Lisa ---" to call them back.  Sounds hokie and suspicious to me.

I've had this same problem and got my brother (who works for a large law firm) to help.  He said once you inform them that you are not who they are looking for and that this is not their number, BY LAW they have to remove you from their calling list. Under the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act) it is unwarrented harrassement to continue to call you.  Tell them this and that you will report them if they continue.  It worked for me!  No more calls!

When they call you do not have to talk to them. As a matter of fact if you tell a collection agency not to call anymore they have to honor that request.

There is a law called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act that makes them stop calling if you tell them to. Section 806 Harrassment or Abuse, Sub Paragraph (5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with the intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.

Called from the number 866-761-2178 last night at 8:31p  Then again this morning at 8:13a and 8:16a  and left one message.  Rochelle was the caller...   And somehow managed to get my work number and called it asking for me saying "Tell her audit systems called, she'll know what it means"    He called me at 9am tellin me this, I'm like, audit systems??  So thats when i listened to my voicemail and All she said was, "This is Rochelle from audit systems if you could give me a call back at 800-741-1969 extention 008"  That's pretty much all i got out of that.  So i looked up the number here...

I kept getting this call "Please call Audit Systems, this is not a sales or marketing call..." and at first my husband and I ignored it. But we were getting the call almost everyday, so I looked it up here before calling back. They were looking for my sister-in-law who has, no doubt, gotten into some trouble. I told them where she was and hopefully they'll stop calling now.

I've had this problem before. For over a year I had to deal with calls for "Mario" and some were not so friendly collectors who despite my cooperation did not believe me when I told them that I didn't know a Mario. It didn't stop until I changed my phone number. I highly recommend it, it was worth the fee.

This one called yesterday (5/2) at 3:40 p.m. in the afternoon.  No message left.  Don't know how they got my cell phone number.

I am the receptionist at my job and Sandy from ASI called my work looking for an employee. I asked to take a message and she said "Have her call me back asap, it is in regards to her son". Come to find out it was a collector and she actually used her son to ensure a call back!! Collectors are relentless [***]!

I owed money to Wells Fargo and after settling with them they still charged my CC a 100 dollars over, will not refund my money or call me back, and my CC compnay takes 30 days to investigate - pissed!

I use to work in ASI...and i know how the pissed off many people I had to leave because i was too friendly and wouldn't get bills paid and i know a lot of the people you guys are naming on here lolz

I have been recieving calls at my job. I didn't know what audit systems was untill I did what all of you have done. i tried to return phone calls to no aval. Then this one woman keeps calling me and lying about my conversations with her. I can't even get a word in edge wise. I asked her not to call me anymore at work but she keeps calling. I told her today, I am going to be working thru- "Careone" to resolve this debt. she informed me that "They do not work thru them so they will be persuing this mater legally.  I thought I had a right not recieve harrassing phone calls at work? and they do work thru care one. so whats going on? I'm trying to pay my debt.

when you asked them not to call did they stop? I'm going to get fired if they keep calling. I have asked them not to call my job.

Five hangups from 800-741-1969 on my cell while I was in a meeting.  No message. The sixth time I answered and a woman with Audit Systems asked for Barbara.

I said: "No such person at this number. Remove this number from your call list or I will report you for harassment" and hung up.

No more calls.  I also did a general search - this number is also used by a company attempting to collect fines for illegal satellite TV use.

Clearly they are a scam outfit!  DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I has been getting a phone call from 1-800-741-1969 for a month now.  I called them and asked them not to call my number again.  The lady answered the phone asked me that "are you Lina Perez?"  I said no.  She asked for my phone number and she said that okay when I asked her not call my number again.  Hopefully, they will not call me again.

This company keeps calling me asking for my ex-husbands new wife.  HELLO I am not her. I have told them numerous times that I am not Mrs.*******. I have even gone as far as moving and getting a new phone number( not for that reason) yet they have still tracked my phone number down and continue to call...

They called my work phone.  Called and then hung up when I answered.
