My Panasonic phone has blocked them for the 20th time

PG&E and law enforcement are investigating scammers who are using this PG&E toll free number which they are spoofing. If you call this number it DOES go to the real PG&E, they have a recorded notice stating that their toll-free number is being used to perpetrate a scam.

I just got the call. And yes they say they are solar company affiliated with PG&E. Number one PG&E doesn't have my cell number number two I told her to F off and she said geez and hung up. I've also put my cell phone on the do not call list.  But the calls keep coming so I know they're not legitimate calls. Also yesterday The IRS scam call started again.

My answering machine answers after 4 rings.  As soon as the machine said, "hello"  they hung up.

PG&E has a warning about this number. They say it a scam. Called my cell but didn't leave a message.

ID shows PG&E id and their number, but it is not--spoofed by solar scammers.  No mssg. keeps calling.

I got a call. It said it's behalf of PG&E but I'm sure this is 3rd party, no matter it is related to PG&E or not.
He tried to sell Solar system and I said I'm not interested.

Called today at 3pm returning my call about power outage.  I called when our power went out 10 weeks ago, and power came back on after one hour.  Either PGE customer service has gone to hell, or this is a scam.  Probably the latter.

Spoofed main PG&E 800 number claiming the State of California was requesting PG&E call customers to see if they wanted a "free" Solar Assessment. The spoofing of the PG&E number was a first but apparently common tactic they are now using.

This number is listed on PG&E's web site as a scam.

Spoofed PG&E scam.  The problem is I don't want to block in case legitimate, so added to my address book as a probable scam number to force them to leave a message.

Got a call from this number by someone pretending to be PG&E asking if I wanted to do solar and I said I wasn't the home owner and he immediately hung up. Rude.

Been getting calls from that PG&E number on my cell phone.  Never gave my cell number to PG&E so no reason to be calling it, unless it's a scammer.  I blocked it.

After a couple seconds of dead air, I suddenly hear the room noise of a loud call center.  Then some girl says she's with PG&E asking if I've had a solar assessment.

It's a scam. They called me and I'm not a PGE customer
