Left a reference number

If they left a reference number, a debt collector was probably calling about an "alledged" debt. When I say "alledged", this means they have to PROVE that you OWE the debt they are calling about. When they call back (and I am sure they will), don't let them tell you otherwise. That is the law!

I googled the number and couldn't come up with the name of the collector. Maybe someone else will have better luck.

I too receive a call from this number almost every day (4-5 times per week). They never leave a message, and when I answer the call, they either hang up or it does an auto hang up.  Maybe it is set to automatically hang up when someone answers.  Caller ID only shows the phone #.  I've never tried to call the number back as I am assuming it is some telemarketer or scam.  Example of days they called:  10/1/07, 10/3/07, 10/4/07, 10/5/07, 10/8/07 (They never called on a Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday).

Same as everone else. About 5 times a week at various times and no response from them. I can't hear a hang-up on my phone.

Got a call from this number.  Left message to call Leah Rose back at garbled name, played the message three times, can't understand who the company is.  After reading the other messages on this site, I'm just going to disregard the message.

Got a "missed call". They left no message. I am NOT in debt and have no debt issues but do run a small business.

Anyway, it is a recorded message, and they have a very long pause (I said hello several times) before they start the recording so you probably hang up before it starts. I didn't get the info because I was going out the door and hung up once I realized it was recorded. I will try them tomorrow probably. I'm in Indiana if that helps.

-Only calls themselves "The Business Office". Doesn't ID any more than her name. Wants a return call at 800-748-0680. Gives a reference #. (must be a debt collector) VERY SHADY.

Received a phone call from this number today. It just said it was nine green calling from the business office and to call 800-748-0680. Hours are Monday-Thurs. 8-7 p.m., Friday 8-5 p.m. The message was really garbled, had to replay several times. Seemed kinda fishy to me.

Same message. A Brian Green from the Business Office left a message to call 800-748-0680. No other message. However, have been receiving alot of calls with caller ID showing telemarketer. I do not answer my phone when that shows up.

I got the same phone call. My doctor is also in Indiana, part of the Duneland Health and Wellness/St. Anthony's group. However, my bills are paid. And if it is a Business Office, they should be professional enough to state what company it is, right? I think it's very weird and very shady. I won't be returning the phone call.

I got an automated call from the business office. The number is 1-877-237-9308

The name sounded too generic, reminded me of 'the yellow pages' scam and so warning bells went off.

I use sms Blocker by Optinno. I is for the Droid. I am sure there are others for the iPhone. It is a call blocking app and works very well for this type of harassment from scam artists.
