No more calls please!!

I received this call today from 800-748-3243 and it was perfectly legitimate. It was a recording /  courtesy call from my local Rite Aid Pharmacy telling me that my prescription was now ready for pickup. However, the Caller Id on my Verizon Fios Phone displayed the number (800-748-3243) along with "UNAVAILABLE". Rite Aid needs to correct this so that the words "Rite Aid" are properly displayed along with their phone number. They are creating confusion for no reason, and leading people to believe that this is probably a scam call.

Rite Aid calling me to pick up drugs, I told them this is not my name. I even get calls for another person with a similar name from Rite Aid. It seems a clerk from Saugerties NY keeps insisting I'm very psychotic because I am a Registered NY Child Sex Crime Victim, that bothers her & she took dozens of photos of me to submit, so now I have threats of police lock ups. Thank you George who accuses me of Mental Health issues, with this number, you charged a $800,000.00 on my banking number, did not go through, I have no charge cards. I am not blaming Rite Aid specifically. I am on FTC do not call list, and registered complaints with FTC Identity Theft, and filed complaints at HUD against privatized housing.

Rite aid pharmacy. They keep calling that I have a percription ready... but i don't shop with them.

How is anyone on 800notes going to know what your prescriptions with a  major pharmacy are???  And you replied to a 7 month old post.

Just because you don't have psychic powers that tell you who Jeanette D is and whether her prescriptions are ready is no reason to get snippy.

Courtesy call from Rite Aid calling to let me know that the prescriptions I ordered are ready for me to pick up.

Not spoofers or telemarketers....It is Rite Aid.   I answered the phone outside, but accidentally hung up by hitting the wrong button .  I looked at the caller id, but it said UNKNOWN, so then looked up the number on the computer and it said Rite Aid.  So I called my local Rite Aid pharmacy, because I did have my doctor call in a prescription earlier.  It was just them letting me know it was ready.  I did hang  up accidentally.  But, do call the Rite Aid you use or did use.  They do use the automated system to let you know of new offers with the pharmacy.    But, we don't usually answer unknown callers... But, I know when Rite Aid automated service calls, it always says Unknown.  No big deal.

Great message!!   I didn't think to look at the keypad.  But, same here. I looked up the number, saw it was Rite Aid, called my pharmacy...my Rx is ready for pick up!   Love this service....I just accidentally hung up trying to answer my cell phone outside.   Have a great day!!   Thanks for the laugh!

It is not Rite Aid. Rite Aid leaves voice mail messages for me to pick up my prescription. Received two calls today from this number. Voice mail message left is just a click. Reporting this number. Next time they call I am blowing a whistle in their ear.

Although I do purchase meds from Rite Aid, I get calls from the LOCAL store and they are not even calling for me. This number has been calling for the past year "to inform Angelo Pizzoreso" and the caller ID is unavailable. How can i stop them from calling?!

This IS Rite-Aids automated prescription line and has been for over a decade.  Their RX calls come from one of two 800 numbers and,  if you don't pick up your RX in a timely manner,  they will call you from their local number as well.

If you get a call from this number  telling you that you have an RX to pick up, and you don't,  cal the local Rite-Aid store as is noted in the message and tell them.  Perhaps someone put the wrong number on their RX.  Perhaps Rite-Aid has someone with the same name as yours and they filled the prescription on the wrong account.  In our case, someone in our town has the same name and birthdate as my wife with only the middle initial being different.

Above all,  don't report this number as illegitimate when it only doing you a service.

It's Rite Aide. They call as well as send a text message. So, I normally just decline the call. This time I was in the phone with my mom for 15 minutes and they called three times while on the phone with mom and now three times after. They usually leave a message. Not this time. I do have a script to pick up as I dropped one off earlier. I guess I'll go pick it up to cease the calls.

Just call it back, choose any of the customer service options and ask them to remove your number. they will do it immediately while you are still on the line.

It's Rite Aid, all rite.  Used to say that on CID, but I think they switched because they also use this number to push their flu shots.  It's always a woman who speaks good English and is reasonably polite.  I checked my medicine cabinet and sure enuf, my scripts are ready for refills.  Their in-store workers are always very polite and helpful, no matter which store I go to. They're also great on EEO, with workers from all over the world.  I don't know why everyone is complaining, unless mebbe you don't like dealing with a diverse workforce.

Called at 1055 AM, followed by a call from 703-413-6284 at 340 PM, CID Rite Aid Pharma.  Was expecting refills, so I went over there, and they said to come back later.

NOT a prescription pick-up, call, those come from the local store number. Rite Aid 1-800 number calls many times a day, usually just a few minutes apart. never leave a message.
