- AnnSounded Fishy! Just talked to a guy and he was trying to get all our company information for a directory and to block us from call lists for a year. He said he needed the info of company name address, my name and position and then had me answer the questions which were being recorded. He said it was not a scam, but it was for a directory - When it got to the questions of answering that I was over 18 and some other ones - I hung up. He was not real friendly on the phone and very insistent - I think this was some kind of scam!!!
- Caller: Did not catch the name.
- SueJust received a call from them that I didn't get to in time. Stopped before my answering machine picked up and they immediately called again, but no one was on when I answered.
- Caller: Not Provided on caller ID
- WillThis is DEFINITELY a questionable company. I answered the call and a representative told me they were with the State of Texas (my business is in Texas) and they needed to verify our business listing information for the yearly complimentary listing with the State. When I questioned "What listing?" she indicated that Google manages their listing information and they just need to verify no change so she can take me off their calling list. I told her our Google listing is administered by me, with our Google Adwords account and I asked her for HER specific company or organization website. This is when she promptly hung up on me. If you get a call from this number, save yourself the time and frustration and either don't answer it...or answer and immediately hang up. Whoever they are, they are deceptive!

- ColeI called them back, the automated system did answer as instant profile, a velocity marketing group, and the system told me my wait time would be less than one minute. I held for 5 minutes and a gentleman answered. I told him that my ###-###-#### telphone number is and has been on the DNC list, and that I had received numerous calls from this number. He apologized and said that my # would be taken out of the que and into the DNC list. I informed him that my # has been on the national DNC list, he said "well, we wouldn't know that". I "reminded" him that they are REQUIRED to know that BEFORE calling. He said he is in a different division, so I asked him to let his superiors know then that their system is breaking the law, that I had already filed a complaint due to previous calls, that my call was being recorded and they would be sued. Upon that info, he promptly hung up on me.
