My husband just received a call from Neiman Marcus on his cell phone.
He is a rancher and calving out cows and he was plenty irritated to get a scam phone call. He told them we do not have a Neiman Marcus card and demanded they send a written bill so he can see what was purchased and when. They lady told him her computer did not go back past 2007 so she was unable to bring up the information.
We have now filed a formal complaint about Neiman Marcus at the Federal Trade Commission

This woman/women keep calling our business and asking for two of our officers and are very rude and will not tell me the nature of the call.  They keep calling back repeatedly when I ask for information as we do not do blind transfers.

Is there some way we can report these people so that we can block them?

Received a phone call from Neimann Marcuis.  Requested I call 888-753-0407. I called and someone asked me to file a complaint with the local police dept--stating that I do not have an account with NM.  They said the following order#(57942569) worth $11,000.00 was in my name.
I recently came home from the hospital and was not up to following through.  So, I, belong to Lifelock and will try calling them.

I have calls on my cell at 8:13am, 9:11am, 10:17am, 11:15am, 12:24pm.
I thought this was spam callers since there are no messages. Why don't they
just leave a message saying they are from Neiman Marcus? It makes no sense that
I have to get on the internet to figure out who is harassing my cell phone.

I got a call from 888-753-0407 requesting a call back about an order I had placed. I hadn't placed an order so I was suspicious, but I called anyway . They let me know that someone had stolen my card# and placed an order for $770 worth of shoes. They cancelled the order and were very professional about it. So this number isn't all bad, folks!

I've been getting multiple calls a day from these people, too, at all hours.  They never leave a message, but there have been days when they have called every couple of hours resulting in 4-8 calls *per day*.

They never leave any message, or if they do, it's one of those, "If this is So-and-So, please tell them to call about an important personal matter", by machine.

If this is indeed Neiman Marcus, I'm going to cancel my account.  I don't need this kind of crap.

Neiman Marcus has turned over some of their accounts to HSBC to manage.  I found that out when I missed one payment - and they turned my account into an HSBC account, with a credit limit 1/3 of what it was before, despite my having been a good customer for decades, with a very regular payment history.

Now I find out that this 800 number that is calling me repeatedly on a daily basis without so much as leaving a message is them.

Clearly Neiman Marcus no longer cares about long-standing, good customers, and they won't be getting any more of my business.

I have received about 5 calls a day, always in the morning, never leaving a message.  After researching the Internet, I realized they are probably scammers so I went to the official Neiman Marcus website and called the real Neiman Marcus.  They told me it's a bogus number.  I told them there are a zillion posts about this number and someone is ruin ing their good name.  The man thanked me and said it was odd that this number is close to the real Neiman Marcus number which is 888 888-4757.  Hope this helps!!

I CALLED THE REAL NEIMAN MARCUS and this is a scam.  DO NOT give out any info and call the real Neiman Marcus and report this!

Number keeps coming up on Caller ID.  This was the first time a message was left.  Someone by the name of Roy knew my name and said he was verifying my order at Neiman Marcus.  Called the number for fear of identity theft, but was on hold so long I hung up.  When the recording picked up, it just said "thank you for calling, all of our operators are busy."

I firstly received this call three months ago. I wan told I owe NM nearly 200 dollars and want me pay it via phone. I refused because I did not have anything with NM. I didn't apply the credit and didn't buy anything in NM store. From yesterday to todat, I received more than 8 calls from this numbre. Just 5 minutes ago, the guy from this number wantme pay back in the phone.
I want to call 911, does that will help?
P.S. The guys knew my SSN, how could that happen?

The calls just keep coming - 8/day or so.  Looks like they've changed numbers, though.  The calls from this number quit yesterday and the same pattern continues today, but from 800-075-3040.

It's Neiman Marcus, they were right my payment was late.

For the past several days this 800-753-0407 has been calling my cell phone up to maybe even 10 times a day (I am not kidding) - no message is ever left - the calls start in the morning and continue until late at night.  I do have an account with Neiman Marcus and I do not believe I am late with a payment.  I have had the card for years, never received calls when a payment has been late.  And finally, no company to whom I have owed money has ever called multiple times every day and left no message.

the caller was reluctant refusing to state what she wanted  If I answer the phone, they do not speak.  looks like a scam.  I SPOKE TO A WOMAN WHO WOULD GIVE HER NAME.  SHE ATTEMPTED TO OBTAIN MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER

We have been getting these calls here at our business for a particular individual...
When taking a message and asking the company name of the party calling we are told
" I am not allowed to disclose that information" and  " It's a personal business matter".
So I googled this number & found this info.....
BTW,  if a company / person is unwilling to identify themselves, I can assure no
return call will be forthcoming....  We'll assume it's a scam !

I have been getting phone calls from 800-753-0407 for the past week all day long.  For example its now 1:02pm and just today, they have called at  12:34pm,  11:46am,  10:30am,  9:40am & 8:10am.  I returned the phone call last week because I am unemployed recently and was not able to make my monthly payment on the due date.  I told the representative that I have already set up and schedule a payment online through HSBC who handles the Neiman Marcus accounts and that you would be getting the past due amount and the amount due this current month on the due date stated on my past due statement.  She was so rude and told me I was irresponsible and should have charged things I could not pay for and then she told me that she needed payment now and that I needed to make the payment over the phone with her.  I said to her, have you ever listened to yourself and the [***] that you think you can throw at someone.  Who the hell are you to tell me what I can and can not do.  I expect that you change your tone and the manner you wish to speak to someone and then I told her to go "f__k yourself [***]".  I hope you lose your job one day and not because you got laid off, but fired you nasty [***].  I then asked for her full name and she said, "bank information please?".  I just hung up the phone.  God my blood pressure was going through the roof.   I called back to report her and because I did not have her name, I got absolutely no where accept back to another representative who said they could help me process my over the phone payment.  I was not making a payment but a complaint!  I said thank you for your help and hung up

Evidently they don't take note of what you say or mark the system that customer stated payment was scheduled.  You would think somehow my payment set up to process in a couple weeks would be noted on my account information so they would stop calling.  I am a very honest guy and very professional and I expect Neman Marcus to be the same and treat us with dignity and respect during this recession that never ends.

So I wake up everyday at 8:00-8:20am because since the day I informed them of my payment, they continue to call aggressively every hour or so.  I guess until the payment posts in 2 weeks I will have to look for their hourly phone calls.  We consumers need to be able to block calls from these types of harassment collectors.

This number keeps calling my house 6x a day, and no message is left, nor is anyone there if i pick up!

Just to let everyone know the law states that they cannot contact you more than once  day and they cannot call you after 9pm.  You can tell them they violated the Fair Debt Act... and you are going to report them to the ATTORNEY GENERAL.  The companies get fined large amounts of money for violating the laws....that'll teach them to harras people.

I work at a switchboard for my job and I get these calls constantly everyday and every morning. Where I work I have to screen all calls and they don't want to give their information for the person they are calling but want you to give up your information immediately. They are so rude and will state that this is a personal matter and need to speak with that person right away.

When I tried to call back and complain about rude their reps are, I am just left on hold and no one ever picks up so I guess I will just have to wait until they call back and give them a piece of my mind.

This number is associated with Neiman Marcus and the person they are calling for is one of their best customers so I know that this a mistake but they still DON'T HAVE TO BE SO RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
