This number calls our office every single day asking for my boss! She doesn't take cold calls and these people won't even tell me what company they're with. I have told them over and over again my boss will NEVER accept your call or return it if she doesn't know who you are! Then they just hang up...It is so annoying. Last one said "Well I suggest you take down my number and have her decide whether or not she wants to call, this is urgent and she will know" Really???

I've been getting calls from this number for the past few days. I don't pick upon 800 numbers and let my answering system pick it up. They never leave a message. I don't have an account with Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman, nor with HSBC.  I'm curious to know who it is but don't really want to answer the phone when they call, especially after reading the comments here.

Doubt the call was related to your account at Nieman Marcus. This is a notorious scam number. They may call only hoping that they reach someone with an account. Tou should call Nieman Marcus and ask if they made the call. I doubt that they did

Same here.  Neiman Marcus calling twice a day, even on weekends.

ugh This number keeps calling me asking in im so and so. I cursed them off last time ut tey still keep calling.

Got a call from this number today asking me to call back to confirm an order; he included the order number. The company was Bergdorf Goodman. Interestingly two days ago I got an alert on my credit card that a charge had been made with this same company that was large enough to trigger the alert. I did not make this purchase and I immediately cancelled my credit card. Now I'm getting a phone call allegedly from the same company asking me to confirm an order.

My guess is this is completely bogus and I'm wondering if I should file a police report too.

Two days after I placed an order through NM's website, I got 2 phone calls from a woman calling on NM's behalf, asking me to confirm the order.  They mentioned an order number that didn't match the order NM gave me.  I called the NM's customer support, who said the deliver was on its way and didn't need any confirmation.  Looks like a scam from here.

Neiman Marcus phoned using my name to inquire about an order number.  Phoned them back, they said a $1204 dollar charge was made on my MC.  I told them "no" I don't even know who you are. The scary thing is that they also had the last 4 numbers of my MC.  They didn't ask for any more information but suggested I cancel my MC.  I phoned MC and no charge for $1204 has been made. I don't know who is the scammer!

I received a call from this number. The man ssid he was calling from Neiman Marcus online department and wanted to confirm a order that was placed using my debit card.  He had the last 4 digits of my debit card number.  I called the number back and it has a recording "Thank you for calling the online order inquiry department.  All of our agents are currently assisting other customers...".  I didn't hold, just hung up.

One week after I placed an order through NM's website, I got a voice mail from a woman from NM asking me to call back to confirm my online order.  She mentioned an order number that didn't match the order # I recieved in my email.  I called the NM's customer support and  was told that the delivery was on its way and didn't need any confirmation. Is it a scam ?

Differnet women call and give a "person "name and then they state they are recording the call . I tell them that I have not given my permission to do so and hang up since they have not identified their purpose

Someone keeps calling my home several times a day asking for some one who does not live in my home. My phone number is on the NO CALL list. However, this number is getting through.  Enough is enough!

Asking for someone who does not live at my address.

This woman calls and asks for me  she says it is personal business and won't give the company name. When you call back and ask what company it is she says "Neimans Marcus". I told get I haven't used my card in months. She asked for my account number which I didn't have and then asked for my social security number. Red flag! I hing up. I called Neimans Marcus and said my account us fine and there are no notes for me to be called it that anyone called me. Total Scam!!
