I called the number and got a recorded message welcomong me to 'customer service' and by following the prompts I was told that "I would recieve a refund". I was unable to talk to a real person and I have not yet been credited on my account. I have no idea what I bought for my $69 and I do not know what this number is selling or what business they are in or how they got my credit card number.

$69.00 charge from "Golf Essentials" and I don't know what this is. Called the number and cancelled my subscription (whatever this is) and also called my credit card company to dispute the charge.

According to whomever I talked to there, they have 30 days to credit your account. Definitely write down the confirmation number once you call the 800 number and cancel.

I did not receive a call, but my credit card was hit for $69 by MD Golf Essentials; I have no idea who this is or how they obtained my card info. Has anyone done business with Medicus Driver?

I called the 888-447-1881 number and was unable to speak to anyone.  I also tried the 800 761 2744 number.  I received the same recorded message at both numbers.  There was no option to speak with anyone.  I did try the cancel and get a refund option.  I also closed my credit card.

Noticed the same unauthorized $69 charge, same message to get refund...doubt "md golf" will produce, that would be too honest.  This must have happened many many times...we need our credit card companies to investigate and press for legal action.   Thanks very much gents.

cancel your credit cards and have your cc company dispute it.  Your info was prabably shared and they are fishing. DO NOT call and enter your cc# for a refund.  It's a scam!!!

Didn't get a call but they charged me for $69. Medicus said they are affiliated through their website. I'm disputing it through my credit card company. I'm not going to call their 800 number and pay finance charges while they sort this out.

The Medicus rep sounded pretty annoyed like they get this a lot. She told me I must have checked a box and requested this service... though I haven't bought anything from Medicus in 8 months and they charged an old card. Needless to say, I'd rather slice every ball for the rest of my life before swinging one of their clubs again!

I don't think it's an outright scam, just very unethical business practices.

Me too! This obviously is a scam. I did call and I too got the same recording, strange.I just checked my CC account on-line and found out that they did credit my account.
What these people are counting on is that a great many people don't reconcile there CC account today and in those cases they collect $69. what a racket.
So now I have to cancel that CC # and you know all the work that means, what a pain in the A.

Did not receive a call. Was billed for $69.00 on my credit card with  800-761-2744 listed on the transaction. I do not remeber authorizing this charge or signing up for anything. I also did business with Medicus earliear this year (Summer). I will attempt to get a credit but more important I will never buy from Medicus again. I will recommend that none of my freinds buy from Medicus. I will also call the BBB and lodge complaint. It is obvious they are a company more interested in ripping off their customers than providing useful products.

I just contacted my CC company (Visa) through Bank of America and talked at length about this issue with the fraud division. They were very interested and will follow up on this. I would suggest that each of you do the same and definately cancel your CC card. The Visa lady said that the cards were definitely compromised.
