It is a firm calling on behalf of an investment we hold (in this case, it was a TCW brokerage fund). It has to do with a proxy/shareholder vote

Didn't recognize so didn't answer.  Caller left a message on  12/11 soliciting proxy votes for an annual meeting.  Another call on 12/12, but this time no message.  Apparently the corporations have decided that it's cheaper to call stockholders for this purpose than it is to print a notice and mail it.  Hooray!  Another way to be annoying and save money simultaneously...

These proxy calls are becoming a real nuisance.  

Haven't recognized the number so haven't answered.  They have not left a message but have called 12 times between 10/13/16 and 10/26/16.  If it's that freakin important, leave a message.  Otherwise, stop calling!

Frequent calls from this number.  No message left.  No idea who they are or why they are calling.  This has been going on for some time now and I am really sick of it.

A Google search turns up a 2006 US SEC form which references this phone number and The Altman Group.  I contacted The Altman Group and they say it is not them.  FWIW.

Caller left no message.  Thanks to your input, I will block number.

If I receive another call from you I will report you to the authorities.  I will never answer your call so stop calling.
