3 calls in less than 1 hr, buy saying he is robert lopez and I better call him back immediately!  No info on who he is, or co. he is calling for, I do not answer threatening calls that refuse to leave any info besides name of someone who I do not know!

I continue to get VOICEMAIL messages on my cellphone to call back to 800-764-5250.  I am NOT the person that "supposedly" owes a debt!!  Someone has stolen my cellphone number to alude bill collectors!!!!!!

Had a Robert Lopez call "Hi XXTY this call is very important, call me right away" and left his number slowley, Also saved this call on my ansuring machine, 1-800-764-5240.  I was so scared something happened to a child.  So silly me, took a deep breath, and called the last number on the caller ID, and redialed it, that was not the same number he left.  The other man on the phone asked me " whats your phone number?"  I said  the number; he called me by a different name.  Said, " no not me" and then I asked " what does RMG stand for?"  He once again asked me for my phone number. I gave it to him, and asked once again "What does RMG stand for?"  He said "I don't need your attitude!"  I said " your the one that called me."  Scared and lost for any words,beside saying very bad cus words I hung up.  Whats up with scarry phone calls, and who has the attitude now?  What a jerk,  if you read this MR. MAN, Shame on you!!!!  Get a job to deal better with peoples attitudes.  It might be a lesson in; the world does not revolve around my inconciderate butt.    Never kiss your MOTHER WITH YOUR BAD ATTITUDE!

I got a call from 800.764.5250 - It was a Wes - Trying to collect a debt from a checking account from 5 years ago that hasn't been used in 5 years - and in Dec. 2007 I reported my wallet being stolen and called to cancel my card and put a hold on it. - Now 5 years later - I called this Wes guy back - He was rude and told me that he was trying to HELP me - and so I said ok - Send me the proof - He said no - I do not have to. - I said ok good bye and called a lawyer he said that he had 5 days to provide a written document that a debt was owed and how to dispute it... LIARS - THIEF'S.....

Did he call from a 952.826.2121 - Then leave a VM for the 800#?

Received a call from this number today and yesterday. Said it was a Robert Lopez and I need to call back immediately. I called a lot later and the answering machine stated the Company was rmg or rng couldn't understand. Not sure I will call back again after reading the posts.

I get a call almost every day from this Robert Lopez ordering me to call him back and he calls from a 952 826 2200 but leaves an 800 number to call.  I don't know who he is or why he is calling, but I don't call anyone back that orders me to.  He even calls me at almost 9pm at night.  I won't answer his calls.

Found a hit on my credit report from Recovery Management Group for $20 each.  Took a couple phone calls to find the right one.  Supposedly they are calling for 2 debts I supposedly incurred in 2008 from Scholastic.  He said it was probably from a school mailer.  In 2008 I was going through a divorce and didn't have 2 pennies to rub together, and my son was 1 year old!  Pretty sure I didn't order anything from his school!  He wasn't in school!  They are refusing to prove I owe it, and also refusing to take this off my credit report.

I had the same thing happen to me.  I recently found a hit on my credit report from RMG.  I made a few phone calls and contacted the company to see what this was all about.  I also was told that I owe money to Scolastic.  I NEVER had an account with any scolastic company. I did some research online and found a website by the name of "Ripoffreport.com" that had many derogatory reports on this company.  It seems that they have been doing this to many people.  I refuse to pay them!  I contacted Experian (the credit company that reported the hit to my credit report) and disputed the hit.  I also asked them to do an investigation into this company. Hopefully the results will be in my favor!  They told me that it could take up to 30 days, and I reported them just over a week ago. I received a phone call today from a "Robert Lopez".  He left no other information than his name and a call back number.  When I googled his number, this website came up.

Basically the same thing has happened to me.  RMG filed a collection for $28 that showed up on my credit alert.  After reading posts about RMG on Web the indication was they claimed I ordered CD's.  I haven't bought a CD in twelve years so I immediately filed a dispute with Esperian.

At the same time I started getting voicemails from Robert Lopez from phone number 952-826-2200.  I actually redialed the number and got the RMG recording to leave a number so I hung up.

This is such an obvious scam.  They are claiming a small enough amount that most people will just pay it to get off credit report.  We need to stick up to these crooks and refuse to play their game.  I am.

Received a call today while I was out. No message was left, but I always look up unknown numbers and here I am. I recently found an $85 charge on my husband's credit report for an account that was supposedly opened on April 15th with Capital Management Ventures and turned over to a collection agency (hey hey, it's RMG!!!) before the beginning of August. So I emailed them and told them that if there is indeed an account in my husband's name, they need to send a paper bill to the house. I told the man I wasn't going to call them, wasn't going to give them any personal info other than the date the account was supposedly opened, the amount and the name. If there really IS an account, they can look it up. So the guy emails me back and tells me to call him so he can "discuses" this with me--his word, not mine. I said, "I will not be calling, you can send me a paper bill to the address on the account so that I can view it and determine where to go from there." His return email said "OK, THIS WILL REMAIN ON YOUR CREDIT, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME."

We have never even seen a bill for this alleged account. Nothing has been sent to our home.

So, even though I did NOT call, somehow they've obtained our phone number. It is an unlisted, private number that we did not even HAVE on April 15th when this account was supposedly opened. We did not get this number until the end of May. And we always put our cell phone numbers on bills so that we can always be reached, NOT our home phone.

What I find amusing about the whole situation is this: In all honesty, I have had a couple of bills go to collections. I've NEVER had a bill go into collections 3 months after the account was opened. Does this sound right to anyone else?

Jay this is Robert Lopez. Please call me. (Reads number very slow.) 18007645250. My caller ID shows the number is 9528262200. I talked to RMS today and my dispute won, so I don't know why he's calling me again.

I have gotten a few calls from this "Robert Lopez"- He never says who he is calling for and just says on my voice mail... "This is Robert Lopez, give me a call at 800-764-5250".  I do not call people back when 1) they don't say who they are calling for 2) they don't say why they are calling or for what and 3) when the # they call from and the # to call them back at is totally different.  Now I am getting a call from someone named "Ed" to call Robert back.  I did look at my credit report and I have something showing for $208, which it doesn't even say who that debt is for... I keep track of my bills and have no debts that I am not current on.  I also get calls all the time for people looking for "Silvia"-no Silvia at this number and I have had my same number for over 12 years now!!  I am going to try and dispute this charge showing on my report- I wish these creditors would get their crap together and know who they are harassing!!

A Robert Lopez saying he was a receivable man called my boyfriend's mom asking for him and i and that's all he said. We didn't know who or what it was about so I Googled his name and the 8007645250 number and this is what I found.

He has been bothering us as well. Like you said, no info, just threatened voice

The guy is stepping outside of legal actions all the time. Demanding and crooked. Loves to be called "Bobbie"

We have asked Robert Lopez not to call our work.  How he got the info we do not know.  He still calls.  Won't give us any info,  say we had a $200 bill and with charges (?)  We owe $475.
