I contributed to the Obama campaign online and I was wondering if they got my card number when I contributed money.  I can't figure it out.  I cancelled my card.

Some research for this name has lead me to many, many sites designed to give your computer the antivirus2009 virus.

I did a USSEARCH on the name of the person the adeleservices.com domain is registered too and got this information.

I did ussearch on the name of the person that the Adeleservices.com domain is reg too and I got this info. Wonder if it's the same Person.

An unauthorized charge of $0.22 appeared on my debit card today. I'm concerned that "Adele Services" of NY will make another, but larger fraudulant charge later. Their phone number is not in service (not surprising).

Not aware of any calls. I too was charged .21 cents on a CC. I called Merrill Lynch and got the charge dropped and will receive a new CC. I wonder if we all have made purchases on Amazon?

ADELE SERVICES 800-764-8104 this was the number on my statement.

I called my bank and they said they had several calls about this number and charge.  Apparently, it is something PayPal related that gets charged to your account after the tranaction without them letting you know.  YES this is a FRAUD CHARGE!  Bank recommended I cancel the card and get a new one...so I did.

Mine was a visa CC for .21 cents fram Adele 1-800-764-8104/2. Is it only VISA cards that this is happening to?

Canceling your credit card or debit card may not be the answer. Check this. I haven't used my checking account to buy anything in 3 months and I decided to check on it today. Low and behold guess what I saw? A charge from Adele Services for .26 cents from a check card that had been canceled in May of 2007 pushed through to a brand new account that I got in December 2007. Now that is serious. They got my account charged with a canceled card that was never. I repeat never connected to that account!

I have not gotten any phone calls asking me to verify my name.

I had .25 taken from my account today....I am reporting it to my bank in the morning. I will post back when I find any tracking information! I have not bought anything on line recently (which is unusual). The only thing out of the ordinary that I have done recently is go to the Bahamas, and THIS account wasn't used, it was all through the credit card & our joint account! I'll figure it out!

Correction....my charge was taken out on the 20th....it IS a clever scam! I know everyone is trying to figure out some correlation between their cards. I haven't used my card in a long time. I'm going to bet that the THEIF is randomly pulling routing number & bank accounts & getting lucky. I, too, don't owe any collection agancy, nor do I answer calls from solicitors.
Are there any lawyers out there? Can't we get more than punitive damages in a class action lawsuit? I am willing to start one over .25 to cream this creep, if y'all are with me! :)

Yup, got a $.26 charge on my credit card. Called Credit Union, was told call 800#-not in service-called Credit Union back, they cancelled card and reissued. Pain in the neck, 2nd time this year, but necessary. When I heard "pet supplies" only thing I could connect with is using that card at Petsmart earlier in the month. May be just coincidence!

i had .22 taken from my account. i called my bank and cancelled my card and now im stuck waiting for the new one. everyone be careful. ive had my identity stolen already and im still fighting to prove that im me. i bank is checking it out.

Have been hit but the Adele Services nightmare as well.  My .23 cent charge on 11/20/08 is turning into a long ordeal.  I shopped on Amazon and NBCStore  -- these are the only two places I used this card online.

If any of you used the NBCStore (Right now it looks like Amazon is the common denominator for this now, please do post.

Had .26 charge for Adele Services at this number posted on 11/20 on my CC.  Called my bank and they were already aware of the scam.  Canceled by card, evidently they are randomly hitting cards using routing numbers and codes in numerical order to see if they get hits.  I caught mine the date it appeared, so only got hit for .26.  It's a shame that we do not have stiffer penalties for this type of criminal activity.

Hey any word on this problem....did the FBI get a hold of this so called Thomas Philip.....any word?

My bank caught this scam and locked my card without even telling me it was locked.  Oh well
I told them that anything in states other than a certain few New England states and Atlantic Canada to deny charges  They are a small personal bank and are very good and have very good security.

Such a pain to change cards as I have to wait 10 days to get a card and I use this card every day.

Mine was from Skyline services and was 2 transactions for $0.26 each. The fraud department of my bank caught it fast, but I'm without my debit card for 14 business days.
