You don't have to be a present customer to get these calls.  I had a CD with 5/3 and a savings account which I closed and transferred the CD to another bank.  However, still receive these calls regularly.  If you let the answering machine pick up the call, they hang up without leaving a message.  I'm on the DNC list but apparently does little good.

I got a call from them just a second ago and was wondering who they where. Sure my caller ID said fifth third bank but (1) they called at 8:30pm which is well over business hours even on the west coast (2) the man sounded extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and had a very short introduction (the calls i get from telemarketing inform me of at least their name). I agree with those that say its a fraudulent call. BE CAREFUL with any private info

keep getting calls and when answer - get hang ups - no response.  call back this number to complain and am asured number will be removed and placed on do not call list yet calls continue.

Wanted to send me a card that I can get rewards wanted to know if I rented told them if I am a customer you would no that. I hung up on him

I love caller ID.  We don't answer if we don't know the number.  Of course, they call constantly, but so what, we will NEVER NEVER answer. :-)

I have received this number today along with a senior scam number of 347-418-0487.  I call the 800-767-8645 number after seeing my i.d. caller and stated to the male if he made another phone call to this location, I will press charges because I called At&t and they are investigating their number.  He hung up with the quickness.  This is not a legit 5/3 Bank number so you guys please beware and do not respond.  I do not have an account with 5/3 at all so please do not give them any of you INFO!  It is a SCAM!

It turns out this number is a 5/3 number from the 5/3 sales team. They are calling because you already have a 5/3 account. If you are interested, continue on with the call. If not, ask them to remove you from the list. A 5/3 sales person will verify you name and address, and ask you your occupation, if you own/rent and to verify only the last 4 of your SS#. If you are asked anything more than that, hang up and call 5/3.

These people call EVERY morning at 9:30 on the dot. Just called and told them to remove my number from their calling list. Guess we'll see if I get a call tomorrow!

since march i have been getting calls from this place, 5/3rd,  have made several complaints, talked to Supervisor, named Shawn, was told my number was removed then two days later two calls came in  on my caller id, I do have a loan from 5/3rd, and on the bottom of the loan, it has a box that i checked to NOT be notified of any offers !!!!!!   little good that did.  I have since pressed charges and  awaiting  the out come.  I have a private number,  on the no call list, and call blocking for unknown callers.

My # is unlisted and unpublished so I don't know how these a¥#holes get it. I'm so tired of telling ppl to stop calling my phone. I'm also wondering why I pay to have it that way. Smh

If you are a customer of theirs the do not call list is not in play.

Was getting calls daily.  Now the number is being blocked.

If you are not the person they are calling for then you cannot request to be placed on do not call list. Only the person who the offer is for can do that.

i called customer service the 800 number  for fifth third back they do not call this is a scam they ask for name, address, income then ask for mothers maiden name was a red flag so called fifth third bank they didnt call so report it to fifth third

When I rec. a call from 800-767-8645 I could hardly understand the caller. (Indian accent). She ask 3 times and I told her wrong #. When I called 53. Bank I was told that there is no such # listed and to be very careful to take any call like that.

Finally answered this call after they've called repeatedly over the past week. I gave in because the caller id reflected a name that calls from should be legit. Called to talk to us about the new DUO card. I told her we were not interested and to remove us from the call list and was politely told we would be, although our number may be on other lists... ???? I'm so ticked off right now that I answered.

Just got a dropped telemarketing call from them. I had previously requested to be removed from their list. I think its hilarious that ads for Fifth Third are showing on this page.

Did not answer. I don't answer 800 numbers or unknown callers.
