- Scott| 2 repliesCalls my home phone number. I haven't called back yet.
- samcalled regarding a debt colection that had nothing to do with me. I called back to tell them not to call me as I wasn't who they were looking for and the agent launched into a dozen questions that had nothing to do with the original call.

- tisha| 2 repliesReceived a VM at work today from Pat McCain (#M83505), who stated tersely that she had also left a message with my supervisor (btw, 3rd party disclosure like this is illegal). She said to return the call to Cincinnati, OH by 1:45pm PT tomorrow. Return number is 800-767-9185. They are not a Better Business Bureau member and have had complaints about their collection practices.

- A Jeannine| 11 repliesDRS BONDED began calling and leaving message after message after message but no information more than the phone number. I would return their call, someone else would call and leave a message. I was in a serious car accident & lost my job, health insurance, health, disability, etc. I have a husband that walked out on me with my life savings leaving me unable to work and broke. The lady called me every day, several times a day. They would call my home (until that phone was shut off) and then they started calling my cell phone from an "UNKNOWN" number EVERY MORNING before 9:00 a.m. I tried desperately to work with them even though my first priority IS and ALWAYS will be MY CHILDREN, their health, happiness & well-being. The lady wanted to "cut a deal" with me which I wanted to do so I could stop being harrassed every single day. They offered me to pay a slightly lower amount as settlement and said the debt would be forgiven. Of course my brother is a police officer and he told me she is fabricating the truth b/c they will take a lower amount but it still hits your credit report which she lied and said it wouldn't. I verified the information and she was not telling the truth b/c it would still damage my credit report and WOULD NOT SHOW AS "settled" like she said it would not go away immediately but remain on there for seven years. I again explained my financial issues and at no point asked for the debt to be forgiven. I have worked all my life and in the blink of an eye I lost everything but my kids, thank God. This lady told me to ask my parents to help me pay the debt. First of all, it IS MY DEBT and I intend to pay it as soon as I can get money but who is this person to ask about my parents, if they work, where they live, can they pay it for me and in the end I explained my parents (divorced) live on a fixed income as it is and I am responsible for myself. She continued to leave messages about asking my parents or my estranged husband. She then began calling and telling me I HAD to pay at least $300.00 dollars to be in good standing or they would ruin my credit like that mattered now. She called me every single day and left messages and she would call between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. EVERY SINGLE DAY for months. If if had the money I would be more than happy to pay it but I DON'T and told them I would pay as much as possible monthly but there was no way I could pay $300 a month until I could get a job and become financially stable. My credit has ALWAYS been excellent and since all of this it is in the toilet. She would leave me messages to ask people to pay it for me which is inappropriate besides calling three and four times a day before 9:00 a.m. and after 9:00 p.m. The funds I had available were NEVER enough for them. She finally quit calling for about a week or two and then she started it back EVERY single day telling me to pay the $300 at least and now she has threatened me. I have been under enough stress with no job, no money, no husband, no income and a job market that is horrible. I have no intentions of sitting around and I am trying desperately to take care of myself and my children and "CAROLYN" left me a message today saying that I have to pay them a large amount and even though I DO NOT have income that she knows I own a house and at 5:00 p.m. TODAY she is going to require the company to come after my house. I guess that is appropriate since it's the last thing I have...nice COMPANY. Remind me to do business with them again...NOT!!! I am so angry it is unreal. The woman had the nerve to leave me a message and threaten me. She point blank said it doesn't matter if I have an income/job or NOT because I own a home and that if I DO NOT do something before 5:00 p.m. today that they WILL PUT A LEAN on my house and her comment was that she is sure I DO NOT WANT THAT NOW DO I? It was bad enough they called me all day over and over and then told me to ask my parents or whoever for money but now she has left a message threatening the only thing my kids and I have left. Nice lady and nice company. I hope to God that woman NEVER comes upon hard times because no one should be made to feel like like a comlete and total failure even though I have worked my entire life to provide for my family. Her name is Carolyn from DRS Bonded and her phone number is (800)767-9185, extension 7548.

- Steph| 1 replyI've got them calling my cell number and my work number now. They do call me everyday, more than once, but rarely leave a voice message. I did look them up on Google search, and found out that there a quite a few legal cases against them for their inappropriate collections practices.

- SUNSHINE| 1 replyFirst called my place of employment leaving messages for me through other co-workers. I'd call back but was on hold too long so couldn't speak with someone. Finally was at the office to get the call and the man named Mark, saying he was the supervisor, was rude and expected me to handle a personal "collection" call at work. I told him I couldn't have calls like that at my job and he had the nerve to call my corporate office inquiring about me and my address, etc. He got my cell and called me later. I'm having terrible financial difficulties and when I offered him $10 a month he got belligerent. He said $100 would be acceptable to his client. I said I'd have to get back with him because I didn't think I could come up with that amount and he said he would have the court system deal with me and hung up. Number he had left me to call him at was the 1-800-767-9185 and he said his company was DRS Bonding. His number doesn't show up on caller ID which I have at my office and on my cell. Very rude and threatening.

- annoyed at work| 2 repliesI keep getting calls from these DRS Bond people. BOB Howard calls every day....several times, he is the rudest SOB. I am not even sure that a company can do what they do. he has left messages w/ the secretary @ my office, w/ the director of my work and on my husband's cell, my work voice mail... he states that i have until noon today or he will turn my case over to the county legal authorities... He is totally inapropriate. I dont know whether to trust him or not!!!

- NIK| 2 repliesAwesome ppl to deal with, they helped me clear up my credit
- Tess| 3 repliesA girl left a rude message, only identified her first name as if I knew her. "Hi it's Lindsay." I'm sorry who? I don't know any Lindsays. Then she says, "I'm calling about a claim that was placed on my desk and you need to return this call immediately. I'm sick of calling you so I think it's about time you called me back." Okay, this is the FIRST voicemail I got from this person so how would I know to call her back? I get lots of unknown calls on my phone and don't take them.
- awesomeBS replies to NIKsure they did. how long have u worked 4 them?
- avvia replies to A Jeannine| 2 repliesMy suggestion to you is grow a thicker skin. I do not mean that in a bad way. I just started having run-ins with the same company. This one claims she is Ms. Sharp and she is right, her tongue is as sharp as it is rude. They block their number, refuse to identify themselves and expect you to indulge in a discussion with them. I also own a house and since bad debt stays on your credit about as long as bankruptcy, file Chapter 7. That's what I'm about to do. I wish you all the best.
- Kenny replies to Tess| 2 repliesThis is just their way of trying to pull a guilt trip on you. I got a phone call like this years ago. The lady on the phone had an attitude and says: "I've been trying to contact you for quite some time." So I reply: "What are you using? A Ouija board? This phone has sat next to my armchair for twelve years and this is the first I've heard from you." She got so angry that she hung up and never called back and never even told me what the call was about. LOL!
The other funny thing is that stupid "on my desk" reference. People call and say "this is on my desk" as if that is supposed to impress me or something. I usually ask: "What kind of desk is it?" and they say "Huh?". I continue with: "Well, if its a big mahogany desk I might be impressed, but its probably just a stupid steel cubicle with those dorky stryrofoam walls to put pushpins in, am I right?" At this point they just get really angry and hang up. People like this are great to have fun with! - CreepyThese people called me and asked to speak to a guy I dated over 9-years ago and have had little to no contact with in the last five years. I'm married now and I have a different last name then when I dated the guy they're looking for. It's creeping me out. Very big brother.
The worst part is that they leave messages asking for the ex and when I called back, they couldn't find any information on me in their system so this means that they aren't going to STOP calling me! Is there anything I can do about this? I mean, they'd probably get better information if they just googled him! - listen to me...| 3 repliesMy suggestion for creepy is that you call the number and speak to a rep. They are actually really kind if you are kind with them. Tell them that your ex no longer lives with you and that you need to have them stop calling the phone number you have. Or honestly change your number.... it's easy. DRS Bonded is a company that collects on Health bills, Citi Mortgage and other random places. They are trying to help you prior to having your paycheck garnished by the state you live in. They call from an unknown number for their safety. think about it, they are like the IRS for goodness sakes. They are trying to make a living also. They are trying to save some of your sorry people from having your houses, cars, health insurance and other items of luxuary taken away. You really need to fess up to your mistake because it will only come back to bite you. You will also need to just talk to a rep, kindly let them know your money Situation and they will kindly assist you in the matter.
- MES. HARRIS replies to A JeanninePlease do not believe anything they say. They are really rude and just want you to say you will send them the money. I had the experience of speaking with this lady also and she was VERY VERY rude. I ended up hanging up on her and when i called back and asked to speak with a manager she answered the phone again. The experience had me really upset and i was at work at the time. When they call tell them to contact you by mail only and if they keep harrasing you, you will report them to the attorney generals office and the better business bureau. To spice it up tell them you have prepaid legal and you will talk to a lawyer about the harrasing phone calls.
- MES. HARRIS replies to avviaThat is her name that is the exact lady i spoke with. Very rude i really had to bite my tongue i was so angry
- Mrs. Harris replies to NIKYou must work for them??????
- PeopleAreStupid replies to listen to me...| 2 repliesI agree completely. People dont seem to realize what NOT paying their bill could do. They seem to think it will just go away or it will never get sent to a court. Its like people have never heard of a judgment or wage garnishment. If they work with their creditors, respect them and know they are just trying to make a living just like everyone else maybe they would be able to resolve the issues in a better way. People dont seem to realize that they know the economy is rough but they have to make a living and bring something in to make sure they have a paycheck the next week. Being rude/ hanging up/ ignoring calls/ etc is only going to make it harder on you, not them.
- Ignorance is bliss...| 1 replyI know of these ppl...they helped me from losing my home!! I used to even work in collections...So I found it pretty funny to be on hard times. Ppl seem to think collectors make money when you pay your bills, not the case. The reps get paid an hourly wage, thats it!!! I think its high you all just admit you didnt pay your bills, and stop complaining cuz you got caught, or you tried to run and hide and they found you!! If you really have a legit complaint look up the laws on google!! I read every posting on here...there was NOT ONE law that was broken from what was said!!! Come one ppl, ignorance is NOT bliss
