Left a message for one of my children to call "Barbara" at this number.  When I called back, said "Patient Accounts".

Barbara hemmed and hawed as she tried to pull up my record.  She was able to get me to tell here what town I was in.  Then she asked for the last 4 of my ssn before I got suspicious.  When I refused to give the last 4, she hung up saying, "you'll hear from us in the mail."

Not a phone call but a gross privacy intrusion anyway. They sent a collection notice to the address of my significant other but used my brother's name. They were attempting to collect $1,100 in the name of Rockingham Family Physicians in Harrisonburg, VA. Neither my brother nor I have ever seen a physician at a group by this name. In fact I live some 250 miles away on the Eastern Shore of VA and a 5 hour drive to see a Dr. I don't know represents an obvious effort to defraud me or my brother or my significant other. How they obtained the address of someone known to no one to my knowledge is also highly suspicious. What's up with this RSA Enterprises medical collection business?

if it is legit...

i actually do live in the valley...but i've questioned some
of my med bills cuz my insurance should be covering such..
but i figured it was a co pay.
i will write more when i find out more...
