I received a call today from Ray Johnson with an Indian accent. (no way his real name is Ray Johnson he sounded like Atmanand from Horrible Bosses).  He said he was calling for the IT alert department and when I asked from where, he said the same thing.  Then I asked from which company and he said Microsoft.  He got me to open the windows using CTRL + Windows flag key but it just seemed to weird so I wrote down the number and said I'll call him back at a later time.  Looked up the number doing a reverse search and no company was found.  Googled it and found this site.  BEWARE, they are trying to hack into your computer.  Don't give them access!!!

I got a phone call from the same number.  The caller had an Indian accent; he told me his name was Reid Johnson. He claim that I was having problems with my computer.  He had my phone number, address and my name, how did he get all that, "go figure"!!! You would think your information would be safe, and protected. "I guess not"!!! He said he was calling from Microsoft, and that people in my area was having problems with their windows computer.  You know, I have never received a call from the Cable Company telling me I have problems with my Cable and they want to repair it. "Have You"?? Once again, "go figure"!!!

Yup. Got the same call, four times "Roger Wilson" from Dell working with Microsoft said there was a very harmful application running on my computer and at least 5000 others and he needed access to my computer to fix the problem. He said that the company I work for asked them to call everyone and fix their computer. He said he just spoke with Thomas Lang and George Kellig at my company and they asked them to call me. They knew my name, address, where I work (a well known university). He told me my computer will crash unless they fixed it for me right away and started to tell me how to give him remote access.  I asked him to give me the name of his company and he said he couldn't do that, so I asked him to give me a number so when my computer crashed he could fix it. He gave me this phone number. This would sound convincing to some people. Beware folks.
