I have received this call 3 times already I researched it and appear to be from a "Quit Smoking know"  advertiser.

They call every once in awhile for my brother.

Receiving unwanted phone calls from this number at 4:00 AM !  Really?  Stop stop stop!

I've received four calls since yesterday!  It says it's the North Carolina  Quit Tobacco Use help line. They called yesterday(Saturday) at 10:48 AM and again at 10:48 AM. Today (Sunday) they called at 12:45 PM and again at 12:53 PM (8 minutes apart!).
I was highly irritated by that time so I answered; Was a recording telling what it was and to hold on, so I did; it then disconnected me!
I immediately called the number back and managed to talk to someone.  I asked her why I  was receiving calls from them, and especially on the weekend and that I get enough telemarketer calls thru the week as it is!
I also told her that I didn't smoke and never have and to immediately take me off their calling list or I would report them to both the FTC --and if needed--to my attorney!!  And if they continue to call, I will do exactly as I told her I would!
She said she would remove my from their calling list.
We'll see.

Has called twice at this point.  I don't answer.  It appears to a national Quit Smoking Helpline, but why would they be calling people?  You're supposed to call them if you want/need help, not the other way around.  I haven't smoked in almost 20 years, so I'm pretty sure I don't need their help.  I'm just going to block the number and be done with it.
