We didn't get a call from this number but got a green postcard in the mail asking for $6.95 "storage release fee" to allow some jewelry item worth $50 to be released to us.  It says, "This fee can be paid only by telephone and only with a credit card (Visa or MasterCard)."  Anybody know anything about this?  Sounds like a scam to me.

My mom also got the same postcard yesterday in the mail. We haven't called about it, but we both feel like it's a scam too. Especially now that I know someone else got the same thing at about the same time.

I also received a card from them.  I'm glad I looked it up.  It sounded kind of funny. I won't be calling

I didn't get a call, although I don't answer 1-800 calls as they are usually crap calls, but did get a green postcard in the mail stating I needed to call to claim my jewerly, and needed to have my credit card ready to pay the 6.95 storage fee.    I did call the number and first got a recording that if I received a message to pick-up to wait and I would be transfered to a live agent.  While I listened the item is a pearl necklace on a gold chain.  Then I was transfered to a live agent.  I promptly hung up.  Sounds like a scam to me. Anytime there is no name of company it usually goes in the circular trash box, but the card did peak my interest so went on line to see if I could use some key words and found this site.

I got this card in the mail.. I knew it was a scam right away because what appears to be hand-written information is actually just something that was mass-produced on a copy machine(you can tell by holding the card at an angle)  I called the number which told me I had a pearl necklace on reserve and to hold for a live agent. A guy came on the phone and wanted my address..I asked him how I had been chosen. He told me I ordered something in the past and this was their way of thanking me. I asked him what I had ordered and he was lost for words for a minute and told me he wasnt quite sure because my number was sent from a mailing list. I asked him which company and he changed the subject by asking for my address again. I told him he didn't need to know. He kept repeating detailed info about the necklace. I told him to quit scamming people. He kept insisting for my credit card number. I told him I wanted to send a money order and he said I couldnt because of complications and again asked for my address. I laughed and he asked if I was bored and wondered why I wasnt complying with his questions. He again wanted my credit card number to speed this phone call up and again wanted my name and address. I gave him the tracking number that was on the card and told him he should be able to find that information from the supposed tracking number.. He said his computer was down and that he would not be able to find that number and by the time his computer was up my offer would be expired. I told him to F*** off and hung up...
