I received 2 calls from this 800 number. They told me that our telephone bill and Direct TV bill can be lowered because we are senior citizens. I was skeptable.

I received 2 phone calls from this 800 number, just minutes apart. Both times the person told me that they could lower our monthly bills on the phone line and Direct TV, due to the fact that we are senior citizens. I was skeptable.

I received a call from them and it is a total scam to get your credit card info.  I acted like I was interested to see what the scam was.  They say they can lower your AT&T bill then transfer you to a manager who says they can save you money from fluctuating FCC and government fees by pre-charging you a flat rate for a year.  I hemmed and hawed about giving my credit card number over the phone and said they should just bill me.  He said it was the only way.  I then asked if they would take anything in trade, that I had a sexy goat I was trying to marry off but he skipped right over that because he thought he had a live wire who would actually give him my credit card info.  I basically wasted a half hour of their time so you don't have to.  just tell them to F off if they call you.

Received a call that said due to many complaints of rates increasing on DirecTV Stream/AT&T, they were offering a one-year discount.  Kept asking me for the PIN for my account.  Red flag!!!! I told her I was suspicious so she gave me her supposed name: Hazel Smith, a phone number (800-797-5520), and her extension/employee ID: 8029.  She told me she'd call back later after I found my PIN.  The caller ID (which means nothing these days) was 239-354-5252 - blocking for what that's worth.
