I got a call from this number and this call was to verify the purchases done on my debit card. Actually, I did not purchase anything on a particular day. It was an automatic call. Caller asked me to press 3 if I do not authorize that payment. When I press 3, he told that my card has been blocked and asked me to contact on another bank number to get it unblocked or to get a new card.

Received a call to verify charges on my card. They provide the last 4 numbers of your card and ask you to call a number. Automated caller. No bank or card company will do this.

This is a valid call, however due to automation, etc it sure comes across as suspicious.  I verified with my bank before providing information.  This number is Visa Fraud Protection.  I'm still not comfortable with the process, and hang up on the automated call and call them back on 800 813 5244.

I got a call from this number.  I called it back, the automated system stated it was my bank.  I'm leery of these things so i called my bank directly.  They checked out some transactions and found one from a site that auto-renews.  My bank called Visa Fraud Protection and confirmed for me that this is legit.   Your mileage may vary.

This is an authentic Visa fraud call. I received a message from them. I called my bank and they confirmed it is was a legit call regarding my debit card. I used it twice at a store in one day. Felt good to know they were aware of this and questioned it.

Valid call from VISA Fraud Prevention.  I actually called my bank (number on the back of the card), and went through their menu to fraud prevention, and confirmed it is the same people.  It is just a direct line to them.  If you are uncomfortable, use your bank's number.  You will get the same people.

This was a genuine call from Visa to verify if you had made a valid transaction on your card. I received a similar call today from the same number. I called I called my bank to follow up as instructed by this automated caller, and then the merchant, to request cancellation of an automatic renewal of a subscription that I had not authorized. Be careful what you reject. It is for YOUR OWN protection.

Go to your bank in person to check on your Debit Card.  They can tell you if this is a legitimate call.  If they need to issue a new Debit Card they can do so.  They will also will be able to check your account.  I received a call about my debit card.  I do not use my card as a debit card, I only use it at ATM's from my bank.  I also check my account regularly by phone and I know all of my transaction.

Why would you need to go to the bank in person?   All you have to do is call the number on the back of the card.
