- Tanya MontalvoThey have called one of my work cell phones several times. This is a business line for me.
- Employer| 1 replyThis is a business and I had someone named Jason leave a voice mail, who identified himself as being with CPS stating he is the file manager. He mentioned that our employee needed to contact him "Immediately". I do not appreciate collection agencies calling our employees at our place of business. Our employees work out in the field and I will not rush out to find them especially for a collection agency trying to identify themselves with Child Protective Services!
- NeighborPerson from this number (gave name of Clayton), said he needed to get in touch with a neighbor of mine and it was an emergency. Some how he knew
our first names. Left this number to call back.
I do not even know my neighbors and do not like being used as a
messenger boy. Next time they call, I will file a complaint with the
FCC. We should not have to be harassed for our neighbors bills.- Caller: CPS

- Buff612They have called my elderly neighbors in the past and stated it was an emergency that they get in contact with me, and in turn, those neighbors became frantic - their telephone tactics are awful. They are relentless. Even if you are one day late in making a payment, they begin the harassing phone calls. This company calls from 5 or 6 different numbers - and it is never the same person twice. They are awful to deal with. Be wary of this car finance company.

- SonMy Mother received a call from them today stating she was on my ex wifes car loan and they needed her to call them back right away. My ex probably didn't pay it but I don't know how they got my moms number as she has never been listed on anything?
- S>RI recieved a call from CPS today, from a woman named Diana asking if I have seen a certain car driving by or around my street. She then asked me if I had any knowledge of that car to be parked at an address near my house and asked if I could go outside and look over to the house that she was asking about to see what cars where outside in the drive way. She then asked if I could take a message and leave the message taped to their door to contact them back. This is crazy to know that this company had my address and phone number and name......that was given to them by the police dept. ( so said the woman I spoke with form CPS) so that CSP can contact me to get info on these people and vehical and then dare ask me to me a message middle man. They said cops are going to that house but why ask me to deliver a message if the cops are going to that house in question? I dont even know the people in that house or about a car that they are looking for. This is not my problem, so for the cops to give my info out to these cps people so that the they can bother me about somebody bill issues is way beyond me.

- CASEYMy husband received a call from these folks about someone he's not even related to or knows when I called to tell them to take our number off their calling list because we don't know the folks they are calling about. They hung up on me three times when I asked for their address so I could send them a letter telling them we are not relatives of these people and to take us off their calling list. On the fourth and final call I told the person to take us off the calling list and she hung up on me when I tried to get her mailing address.

- KLMThese people keep calling for my co-worker at least once a day, every day. The number they are calling is our business number. They really should contact person via home or personal cell phones, not business phones. I sure don'w want to know my co-workers business!!

- Ticked offGot a voice message on my cell phone stating that I needed to call in reference to a Tony Jones, it was a very important legal matter. They called from 1-800-979-0847 and answered the phone as CPS. The person on the other end would not tell me who or where they were and wanted to know my address and what kind of car I drove. I told them it was none of their business and that I did not know a Tony Jones. They called me a liar and told me to tell my wife that was talking in the background to shut her trap. I called back and got a supervisor that said she would take care of this person and would remove my number from their database. Who do these people think they are !!!

- Message not sentA woman called looking for an employee who worked for the company, but at a jobsite located 500 miles away. She first asked for our address, then our fax number. Then requested I get the message to the employee to call her back. When I asked who she was and what was this regarding, she told me her name was "Mrs. Oliver" and she was with CPS. She gave me a number and her extenstion... 800-817-0263 ext 6621.
She told me she was with CPS, which I assumed was Child Protective Services. I began researching the number. Well...she wasn't with Child Protective Services, therefore I did not find the need to relay the message. Collection agency do not have the right to harrass you at work.
I'm just blown away that people actually work there.- Caller: CPS

- EmployerA man called and spoke to an employee of mine and asked for another employee who had already left for the day. He was extremely rude and gave way too much information on why he was calling. I would assume a person in that position couldn't legally pass that kind of personal info to someone not related to the situation in any way, but he did. I called the number back myself and told them that if they ever called my business line again, I would report them immediately...they hung up on me. I wanted to jump through the phone and punch him in the face. I appears my expereince with this CPS has been shared by many others...how can this company still be in business?????
