Received a phone call from this number more than once.  No message left,

This number appears to come from Express Scripts automated calling system to obtain patient approvals to fill a prescription sent in for the patient by a doctor. I believe Express Scripts and Medco pharmacies merged, so the prescription may have started with either company.  If you don't give authorization they will send a letter and that slows down getting a medicine filled.

I should add that Express Scripts at the regular 800 number was unable to verify this phone number belongs to them, but that were able to confirm the time of the automated call.

Yes, it is Express Scripts.  We didn't answer when they called this morning.  The phone number only said "tollfree".  They left a recorded message on our answering machine, but we couldn't decipher which family member they were calling for.  When I read this post, I did call them back as we are expecting a new prescription for my husband.  One would think that a company like this would at least identify themselves on the called ID!  I would have picked up the phone immediately.

Called the number and it is EXPRESS SCRIPTS automated call to get approval to send out new doctors prescriptions. I could not understand what the computer was saying when it was describing each medication. SO, I told the computer  REPRESENTATIVE and it transferred me to a real live person. They had to look at the screen and go to the second screen to get the actual med name, versus the chemical name the computer kept trying to give. They confirm that you are the correct person and that you want the drugs shipped and all is well.

Called and left halting words indicating my wife's name. After previous posts will call express scripts.

I called the number back and via voice response system it was aware that a message was left at my number.
It wanted to confirm the prescription was correct before mailing it to me.

 

It's Express Scripts most likely to verify a prescription mail-order fill. Heads up: If you don't call them back you will not get your meds.

Express Scripts. They r legitimate & very helpful. Transferred me to a person right away.  She was iinformative & patient.   Also called my normal RPh about it and she said they r very helpful for those of us who can no longer drive.

I would have also answered had I known. We do not answer unidentified 800 numbers. To many scams. Besides with those 800 numbers you still don't really know who you are talking to.

Absolute BS. This number calls my phone repeatedly, no message and I've have never heard of Express Script. This is a phone scam.
