Credit Card Merchant Scam

Called my house phone and hanged up.  I tried to call back to tell them I was going to murder their family, but they wouldn't answer.

Called here on Sunday night at 6pm and as soon as I answered they hung up.  So rude to interrupt our Sunday supper and then say nothing.

Just called me at 9:20 on a Sunday night. After reading the other comments I'm glad I didn't answer. These SOB's deserve to be hung!

Another bait and switch credit card processor, if this is how you "enroll" customers, how crooked must the service be...

Same old "merchandise" scam trying to "save" me $$$  these morons have not changed their scam in over 20 years.  You have to be an idiot to keep funding these slime balls.  They come in on various 800 numbers that are easily checked out here now.

Turds keep calling to check for viable number. It's a hang up. Why isn't there a registry for this type call?

Answered, 1:10 pm, and the caller immediately hung up.

Sad that it is no longer a good idea to answer the phone.

Merchant scam - voice message said -  regarding EMV number for auto - probably scam to sell warranty insurance as my car is covered. This is the biggest scam going around for many years.

Credit card scam - pretending to be merchant servicing, need to update chip processing or something.  I'm not a merchant and have no equipment.

(800) 821-2082 called and did not leave a message. Now blocked!

called 8:00 Sunday night. I did not answer phone. No message was left.

Called at 9:20 PM on Sunday. No message left.

Thank you for this info.  I learned something new.  The scam from 800-821-2082 particularly annoyed us.  Calling us in California at 8:45 pm on a Sunday night is particularly egregious.  We no longer answer unknown callers, but still their calls violate our personal space and peaceful evening.
