Have not picked up, but they keep calling. 4x just today.

I been hanging up this number
+18008269434 till I finally decided call it back it's from a abira department of treasury it seems legit because it's all automated but I'm not sure I still no clue it could possibly be a scam so I will continue to ignore these calls

What is the "abria department of treasury"?  There is no department by that name that I can find.

You do realise that this is a scam, right? Grants must be applied for, they aren't just given away at random.

Calls often enough to be looking the number up.  Never a voice-message left.  I usually block such calls, but like to imagine I can mess with them enough first, to get them rattled.  They just keep all our phone numbers regardless of our responses and requests, so, if you don't like to deal with them on their level, just block them.

Got a call from this number again after months now, and they said I had something to do with earning 9000 or whatever. I obviously knew it was [***]. If something like that was legit wouldn’t we usually get something in the mail from the treasury? My job is within the mail industry and if there is something important such as money bonds, that [***] comes through the mailing system as a declaration towards the individual.

This number has been calling me for days, multiple times a day but won’t leave a message. I know a scam without evening answering the phone

They just called me she got a little upset when I told her that look up the number and reall all the comments. She was taken back don’t know what to say got very defensive. Yelling at me to tell me shut up and me very call tried to explain to her that someone in customer care in the use would never speak to a customer like that and hung up

They told me the same thing

He wanted me to buy a card to get money transferred for a grant I won

Indian scammers. They now claim to represent Microsoft and will lock your computer up if you don't pay them. I told them to read the Bible and wished them well. They won't call again.

This number just called me. I hung up on guy. He called back again. He said I was yelling and I told him I wasn't. I told him I know that this is a scam. If they call me again, I'm gonna tell them I'm praying for them. Plus they need to pickup the Bible and read it.

A man with a deep voice called then I answered he asked me if I was *name* and some other guys name* repeating it two times then asked if we spoke Spanish

I recieve the same call today. Don't get me wrong, 9 K sounds GREAT. But common sense told me it was bogus. That is why I Googled the number.

Constantly calling me saying I've been chosen to receive a grant for 9000 dollers once they started asking my age and address ect I new it was a scam it was the same voice I've gotten tuns befor saying they were from the United States treasure and from the irs and I owed them like 13,000 dollers I've told them I know their scammers but yet they continue to call me back with a different scam each time think maybe I'll believe this one lol how stupid do they think I am what really ticks me off is I am really struggeling and I could use the 9000 dollers jerks I try and block them but it dosent work so tired of this crap

I would think your first clue this is a scam would be the fact that grants aren't just given away, they must be applied for.
