Just received a call from 800-828-6301 letting me know that they needed to access my computer to update a Microsoft problem. I asked which company he worked for and immediately, put his manager on the line who gave me his id number i told him that I was not going to give him the opportunity to remotely, access my computer at which time he said that was my choice and hung up.

I have been receiving calls from this telephone number on a daily basis for about six weeks now.

After the second call, which I sensed was fraudulent, I blocked the telephone number on my Panasonic desk set and now only get a single ring when these morons call.

I am keeping a manual log of calls received from this telephone number and when I think I have sufficient grounds I will approach my Member of Parliament with a suggestion of a Member's Bill for the legal prohibition of this activity or possibly the laying of charges under the Criminal Code of Canada for harassment of a private citizen.  This nonsense HAS TO STOP!!!

This number has called me at least 4 times a day. Usually when I answered it, they just hung up, but one time I did actually speak with someone. I told them to stop calling and said I wasn't interested in whatever they were selling. I asked the guy (who had an Indian accent and claimed to be from a computer company) why they keep calling me and his response was "Because I love you maam." I told him to stop calling me and he just kept repeating that he loved me. I handed the phone to my husband and as soon as he got on the phone, but guy hung. Total scam and I hope they get busted soon.
