I receive calls and voicemail several times a week. The male caller doesn't identify himself, but requests a return call on important business. The calls began July 2007. Occasionally it's a female caller.

This number apparently belongs to a debt collection company purporting to be a law office.

I receive several calls and voicemail several times a week from this number.

Several calls a week. The person talks so fast we can't understand them

must call immediatley, but know other info.

If it's a collection call they are not supposed to call me at work
which they did.  I will call them and tell them NOT to call me at
my place of employment.  Want to make a collector mad?  I mean MAD...
when they say  "This call is being recorded"--say "That's ok, I am
recording YOU as well.."...

Get calls at work from this number frequently, I believe they are debt collection, but it is usually a voice recording. Never tells you what it is about, only urgent you call because they have info on you in front of them and they need to make a decision on your behalf.

8:45 am.just received a call from this number, no message. I report
all of these calls to DO NOT CAll. Gov and, also, filed a complaint about
another collection agency who had the wrong number but kept calling me,
anyway......got that one settled!

Someone at this number called twice a day usually at 8 and 11 this whole week. No one is on the other end. Totally annoying.

I have received 15 calls from this number, every time I pick up, there is no one is there.

I answer and no one is there. They call a couple of times a day and it's always the same thing.

I usually do not answer the 1-800 numbers.  Decided to answer and as soon as I said hello, they hung up!

CBE Group Collection Company.  This company also is the collection group for Verizon Wireless. Calls numerous times but never leaves a message - I have never had a Verizon Wireless phone - If it is a legitimate call, why don't they ever leave a message?????

Yep, it's "The CBE Group, Inc, 1309 Technology Pkwy, Cedar Falls, IA 50613" folks! It's one of Verizon's favorite partners!  Verizon isn't much better in their practices either! They're JUST getting to this some two years later and to top it off, I had paid them, but they just had to flex their muscles an' sick their cronies on me! What a waste of time AND effort!
