They call 3-4 times a day, .Automated voice tell you to hold on they have an important message for you.

I too have received an automated message telling me to hold on.

Just got a call from this number as well, and they did not leave a message

I called them back after hours and the machine picked up saying Nelson Watson & Associates, a debt collector. I don't have any outstanding debt and they called my cell phone so I don't know what this is about. I never give out my cell phone # so it's probably a wrong number.

I keep getting calls from this number looking for a Skyler. I have had the cell number for a year now and get the calls two or three times per month. I also get text invites for Skyler to parties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Apparently Skyler parties, but doesn't pay the bills.

Just called for someone named Dawn.  Told him he had the wrong number & he sounded like he didn't believe me.  I've only had this number for a month.

someone called my number asking for a dawn jacobs.  i told him he had the wrong number, he got snooty and said do you know this lady dawn jacobs.  i told him no that i just got this number in june.

It is a company called Nelson Watkins and Associates. They called and asked me for "Danny" so I just hung up on them. Didn't even say "hello" because my caller ID said it was a toll free so I played my little game of answering and saying nothing at all. I also don't have any back debt that needs collecting. I called the NC Attorney General and they stopped the previous calls from another company but I think now that I am seeing several of the same names being asked for that all these so called different company names and phone numbers might just all be one company. Tricky, eh? Keep contacting your state attorney general's office and filing complaints!

Call comes thru on my cell phone. At least 3 times a day. When I don't answer they disconnect right after the voice mail picks up. If I answer it no one is on the line. This has been happening for several weeks now.

They called me talking about oh wait please we have a urgent message please wait to be sent to an agent nothing happened so I hung up they keep calling my thing is how do they know my phone number and why are they calling people if they not going to say anything jerks.

I've been getting calls from this number for months, sometimes every day and sometimes multiple times per day.  I get this recorded message: (something I can't understand, then sounds like "long distance...dial your operator.  Please hang up now.  This is a recording."  and then the good part--I get this noise that goes on for 15 minutes: Bahbahbahbahbahbah.......on and on and on.  We already asked these people to stop calling us.  I called today and talked to two different ladies, both rude. They both asked if I was "Tracy Chivalez" (or something like that).  I am not that person, and we have lived here for 18 years.  The first "lady" hung up on me; the second was mouthy and rude.  She said "don't you ever dial a wrong number?"  I said, how could two different people ask me if I was this Tracy Chivarez--do you say than to every single person who calls you?  Then some snotty remark and we ended the call.  If these a__holes call me one more time and tie up my answering machine for 15 minutes again, I'll be taking further action.

Keeps calling leaving no message every day

They began calling here AGAIN after they were told not to do so; the NC Atty Gen told them not to call....they do not listen. At any rate I have learned that you AVOID and IGNORE talking with them. Don't let them harass you nor upset you. IF you must speak with them say "the ALLEGED debt that i know nothing about and you need to prove." then HANG UP. repeat as necessary. rec'd call from 703-454-3003 tried calling back recorded msg stating all circuits busy try back later - 2 min after trying to call back this # 800-836-1939 calls me - happened yesterday and now again today - recorded msg stating to hold on for important call ? ? ? ? ?

I just rec'd another one of the daily calls from this 800 number. No msg left, no voice on the other end, no nothing. I called the number to see who it was b/c I was pissed about getting these calls every day! There was no greeting ("Joe Blow and Associates"...yada yada yada) when they answered by saying "hello" I asked who they were since it was an 800 number. She said she was "Danielle" and I asked her who does she work for, and she told me "several different companies." Then she said..."Why, did you just receive a call from us." I said YES then proceeded to tell her my phone number is on the DO-NOT-CALL list and to take my number off of their list. Her tone changed and she asked me for my name and phone number---I gave her my number and told her if they called one more time I was sewing her AND whomever she worked for. I then hung up. We'll see how it goes after today. I dare them to call me back.

Got a call from this number @ 8:09 this morning to my PRE-PAID cell phone. I didn't answer and they never left a message. I don't give my cell number out to ANYONE, it's for emergencies only.

When I answer the call, it immediately puts me on hold and elevator music comes on.  By this time I'm mad because I'm expecting a real living breathing person to waste my time, not a machine.  I let it go on to see what happens next, and all of a sudden, a recording comes on and it says: we're sorry, your call did not go through.  Will you please hang up and try your call again?  WHAT?  I didn't call them, they called me.
