Left message for spouse by full name to call regarding a psrsonal finantial matter. Says they are Key Bank. We have no acc9unts with Key nor have we ever. I called after verifying with spouse, key bank fraud. THE NUMBERNON ID AND MESSAGE NUMBER TO CALL IS NOT A KEY BANK NUMBER

Started by calling my cell dozens of times every day (from various different numbers) claiming to be from KeyBank, and now they are also calling my mother's house phone specifically asking for either me or her.  I have no account with KeyBank, though my mom does.  How did they specifically get both our names and numbers?

Info leaks are everywhere.  Sometimes the callers just make a lucky guess.  There are a number of ways these scams can proceed depending on if you have a Key Bank account or not.

Called my number at 6:50 am did not identify herself. Asked for someone I did not know. I told her she had a wrong number. She asked if I know that person - I didn't. I asked who she was and what company she was with. She wouldn't tell me. I called back and the person who answered announced the company name as Key Bank.

Same deal. Left several voice messages saying they were from Key Bank and asking for specific ppl (not me, maybe someone who used to have my number). Best to ignore these calls and/or report them to the Do Not Call registry.

Okay so everyone above me is incorrect. I work at the Key Bank office this number is associated with, it is a Key Bank number and it is for the Student Loan collections team. If you are receiving calls from this number, you or someone you know owes us money for your student loans serviced by either Great Lakes or American Education Services. I think its funny how Key Bank is slandered online when in reality anyone who was contacted owes a debt to Key Bank. Why it doesn't also show on caller ID, I have no idea, I don't work for tech services. Hope this is helpful!

It is funny when someone says that, because its a sign of a shill that has no idea what they are talking about and only shows the stupidity and incompetence of who they are shilling for. Yes, it was helpful. :)

Personally, I don't want calls about someone else's debt, so how is your post a reassurance of any call from this number, other than its unwanted? Not a very convincing argument on your part, but then shills aren't very bright anyway.

You seem to have failed to prove your case in any way, shape, or form.  For instance, it seems Key Bank does not issue student loans anymore.  Also, why would they be collecting for Great Lakes or AES who do issue student loans?  You have outed yourself as one of the scammers using this number to steal money from people.

I got called and my mother was called (who cosigned my student loans). Left callback, claimed I owed them money (since I recently went bankrupt would only be student loans). Didn't have any real information about me and I don't see how they have my student loans. Claimed to be key bank.

You are incorrect.  I do not owe Key bank any money.  I have no key bank accounts.  You may be an employee but you really do not know what is going on.  Keep drinking the corporate koolaid.

get Repeating calls from this company that says they’re KeyBank regards to student loan I don’t have any student loans out there. They have the wrong person.

Someone you know owes debt and they call and harass you?? They should be sued for this.
