- jtIf you purchased a car recently your loan could have been sold to hsbc auto loans. they call me too, just recently divorced and ex isn't making car payments on time or something, i really need to get my number off their call list for responsible parties.
- Caller: HSBC Auto Loans

- Gina| 2 repliesThis is an auto finance company - more than likely trying to collect on a late/missed payment or two. They are a legitimate company.

- MaryOver 50 calls from this number this week alone. I answered the first one but no one was there, dead silence. After that, I just ignore it and they NEVER leave a message or voice mail. I discovered it is Household Auto Finance and there are hundreds of complaints on the web about this number. I will say I have nothing financed with these idiots and also, this is a new phone number just assigned to me 2 weeks ago. Make them stop!

- JLeady| 3 repliesFinally figured this one out. It is HSBC Auto Finance. This is their Collections department, but I never had a loan with them. Some idiot mistyped a phone number when they updated their system and they started calling me...up to 7 times a day! The only way to get them to stop is to ask for John Molnar in San Diego. He is their top collections guy.

- shawna replies to GinaBut I have not auto loans, so why have they started calling me? I did not start receiving these calls until I switched cell phone companies a few months ago.
- shawna replies to JLeady| 1 replyAfter finding this website, I decided to answer the next time they call. Well, I answered and some how we got disconnected. I called back planning to ask for John Molnar but only got their automated system asking for account number or SSN. Of course I was not going to input my SSN so I decided to do a websearch and got the corporate phone number (858-492-6200). I asked for John Molnar - they did not know who he was. So I just explained my situation about getting the calls and I don't have an auto loan or never have done any business with them. After being transferred twice, they finally transferred to the collections department who was able to look up by my cell number and remove me. We will see if the calls will stop after going through this process. Hope this helps you all as well.
- shawna replies to shawnaWell, I got one more call. When I asked him for his name and employee number, he gave me his name and questioned why I wanted his employee number. I told him I just talked with their corporate office about my getting these calls from a company I've never done business with them and my number was to be removed from their list but yet I got another call. He said he was removing my number then. We will see.
- 800-836-6469This number calls my daughters phone 6 to 7 times a day asking for some other name and she has told them that they have the wrong number. Sunday alone they have called her phone at least 5 times. I have told them that they have the wrong number and that this is not their number anymore but they keep on calling. I called the number back to see who they are and it says HSBC. I do not know these people and have no business with them.
- Caller: hsbc
- shawna replies to JLeadyAfter going through this process, I have not had any more calls!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- temorally unemployedI do have a auto loan with HSBC, but, as noted in my name, I am temporally unemployed. I have been running a few days late in making my payment. They call at least 20 times a day. Recently got caught up on the past due balance with interest. I spoke with the representative, with a strong mid-east accent, explaining sitution. He was extremely unprofessional. Informed him when the payment should be received, from my on-line banking transaction, which was in two days. He was not pleased with this arrangement. I asked him if that payment would make the account current. His response was yes, but he was persistnened in telling me their proceedures. I asked him again if account was now current, if so, there was need to converse any longer and I hung up!

- klutz13they keep calling me, and as i am a student who has recently gotten this phone, there is no reason for them to a) have my number, b) call me repeatedly all day, and c) i have never owned my own car or anything so again them calling me is pointless and annoying.
