    I didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer. I picked up the phone so it wouldn't go to voicemail, but I quickly hit the mute button and just waited a few seconds until the robo dialer hung up.

    A quick search on duckduckgo.com showed that this number belonged to Poppies Floral Art in Victoria, BC. I happen to be in Eastern NC, and there is no reason I know of why they would be calling my house. So, my guess is that the numbering is being spoofed by some unscrupulous scammers.
