I received a call from them and they said it was a response to my job application.  and they wanted to talk to me about offering me a job.  Once my Mom handed me the phone, it was a " Miss Hamilton" wanting to know why I couldnt pay my bills.  I just hung up on her --but first I told her it waqs illegal whyat she did to me and they cant call before 8:00AM or after 9:00 PM-  our time zone- not theirs.

They called me and offered me a job and then yelled at me becuase I havnet paid a bill.  They gave me the  info and I told them I had paid that bill off-  I gave them my  check number and my receipt number.  then I hung up.

Andrew Foreman called looking for someone who has the same last name as I do.  I told him whoever you are looking for does not live at this number.  He then started to ask me questions about this person so I hung up.  I called back to Mr. Foreman 2 min later to ask if he could please put the number he called on a do not call list or please remove it from their list.  He then asked how I knew this particular person, who will remain nameless, and I said I do not soplease take my number off.  IAndrew then said very nasty if you dont know this person or if you don't help me i can't help you.  He then hung up on me.  I called back to ask again to please take this umber off.  He then said "Look [***] if you can't help me I can't help you"  I did called back and call himn a little F&%#@R for not taking this number off.  Just because I might have the same last name as someone that doesn't mean I know this person.  For all I know he could have been trying to scam me.  So if an Andrew Foreman @ 813-579-9382 calls regarding someone you may or in my case may NOT know please report this person and this supposed "law firm" Phillips and Barnes/Burns Law Firm or Pand B Law Firm.  They are supposedly a debt collection agency.  They will harass you even if you are in no way shape or form related or even know the person they are trying to contact,  In my case I think they were trying to contact a poss relative who I believe passed away in the 1980's.  So they may want to look at possible forgery and get the hell off of my back for someone I don't even know

send them a fax to: 716-842-0987
State your name and phone number on the fax, and tell them that they are no longer allowed to call your number, and that any further calls will be reported to the FDCPA for harassment. This is good for one year... then send them another fax next year.

DAMN, i just got of the phone with them. some lady called me. she told me the amount i owed n sounded legit. gave her my card # and everything. she said she was gona lower my debt in a couple of payments (a year). after i hung up i searched her callback # and all this came out. what should i do?.. if this wont help my credit at all should i just call my bank and change my card number?..

they are a debt collector, and a lot ot times they use random phone number generators so you can never tell if it is them.

These SOB's use other phone numbers to try and trick one to answer. Since statute of limitations on any debt they may think i owe has long past, they are wasting there time and I keep blocking the more than 30 numbers they use to try and contact me!  Please have your organization crawl back under the rocks you all came from and leave people alone!
