If you are getting calls from 1-800-841-1592, you are getting calls from Geico Insurance Telemarketing people.

I got a message on my cell phone from this number saying that I needed to update my info. I returned the call and without thinking gave them my name social security number. I then updated my license number. After hanging up I thought about those email phishing scams and called Geico directly from the phone book. They were unable to tell me if the number was a real Geico number. I hope I didn't make a bad mistake and will be watching my accounts and credit report very carefully.

I missed the calls but they called twice in a row. Once, they left a text message saying "please call."

It's the gecko calling, he's looking for the cavemen. (It really is just Geico calling to update your account, i.e. you moved)

It's Geico. I changed apartments and USPS informed them about the address change (Not sure how!) so they called me up to update my new address which I had already done online!
