- Mr. HernandezReceived call from 800-841-4141 stating that they are from FP&L, and our power was going to be shut off because our account is past due. Told them we don’t have FP&L, have LCEC. They said they’re the parent company that oversees the billing for LCEC. This is complete BS, and not true! Pulled up my bill online, when asked them for my address, they knew it. When I asked them the name on the account or phone number, they were WRONG!! - NICE TRY A$$#0/€! TOTAL SCAMMER

- TLOCalled me saying that this is PECO and they wanted to offer me a 34% discount for the next year because I have successfully paid my without incident or LiHeap assistance for 12 months. I'm from Philadelphia and literally just came up on 12 months on my apartment and PECO account.
They asked me to get a pen and a paper and most recent PECO bill out. The accent, fact they didn't give a name, the unlikelihood that PECO would be giving anyone discounts, along with me just too lazy to get up and find a PECO bill anyway made me hang up. I googled the number. It was PECO so I was like "damn, I might have missed my blessings" lol. Then I found this site. Thanks guys!- Caller: "PECO"
- Cyber4wolfPECO Emergency number. Leaking gas, No electric - You call this number. PECO NEVER will use this number To Call YOU.

- Michael GriffinThe real peco number popped up on my caller ID so I answered and it was the same old scammers telling me I was going to get some kind of discount for paying my bill ontime. I hung up then so I didn't get to hear the rest of the spiel, but it was Peco's number for sure that popped up on caller id. Scammers are trying hard
- BonScam. After seven calls to me, To advise me of unpaid PECO bill. He couldn’t give me an account number. When I asked his address, he stated 2301 Market St. PECO does not supply services to me.

- AlishaThey called speaking Spanish and I said I speak English. They then put someone who spoke English on the phone and she told me that I had 45 minutes before PECO was coming to turn my electricity off. She said something had happened in the system with my payments and money was still owed on my account. I said that I didn't owe anything and that I will call them. She said that this was an urgent situation and that she had a
Certain number for me to call if I want to stop the shut off in time. When I hung up and called the number back it sounded just like Pecos answering service. But I knew my account was paid so I knew it was a scam.- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BobMan with thick foreign accent, couldn't tell me account number, address or anything else. I asked him to send me more photos of his mother having sex with a dog. He said "go [***] yourself"

- SUE CRecording stating we are behind in paying Electric bill and it will be turned off in 30 minutes. Must call 800-460-9897. Of course I did not...I called PECO instead at 800-841-4141 and reported the scam. Customer Svc stated they have received a lot of calls in the last week about this scam...do not fall for it - call PECO and report.

- RaeI got a call from this number, caller id showed winteractive as the caller - they left a message stating that it was peco and the power was going to be out on a certain date for repair, but the message cut out before it was finished. i found it odd, as we usually get a notice in the mail when work is going to be done. I called the number on peco's main web site and the cs rep verified that it was in fact a call from them and it was legit. (It was not bc of a past due balance, mine is paid in full and that was never mentioned in the message - only repair work.) I also checked with some of me neighbors and they also got the calls.
