I received a phone call from 1 800 841-5841.  The caller ID identified it as "Live Talk".  The caller claimed he was a State Farm representative and and was calling to offer a free auto insurance quote.  He went on to ask numerous questions regarding my vehicles, miles driven etc.  At the end of the call he did not provide a quote but instead said he would forward the info to a local agent.  I never heard from a local agent.  I called State Farm and they stated they do not use this type of direct telemarketing.  I then called the the 800 number and the call would not go through.  Clearly a fraudulent call.  Beware.

I receive numerous calls from this number and the caller ID identifies it as "Live Talk" also.  I don't answer as I don't answer ANY 800 solicitor calls. I read the previous post and I know for a fact that State Farm does NOT solicit business this way (long time employee of the company in an agent capacity). I just got another one (on a Sunday no less) and attempted to call the number right back and got a recording that said the number could not go through in my area.

any one has any idea who this people are and what they looking for
