I got a phone call from 800 841 8182 and the guy said he was from Windows and they were receiving some sort of messages from my computer. I could barely understand him....so I hung up on him.

Just got a call at 10:30 PM! Rushed to phone, because I thought it may be a family emergency being so late. No message left.

Guy said he was from Windows and they were receiving a message from my computer. He asked if I was sitting at my computer, I guess he wanted me go give him control. I told him that I had Dell take care of any problems I had, I started laughing so he put someone else on, his supervisor. He told me I wouldn't be able to use my computer, I laughted at him too and hung up.

I answer phone and they always hang up.

They called very early (0827) this morning. The machine answered and they listened for a while then hung up.
Just more phone scum.

Got a call at 10:45 pm last night claiming to be from Microsoft  and said I had a virus on my computer and that he needed to access my computer. I asked him if he knew what time it was and that Microsoft doesn't call durning these hours. I called him a scammer and told he to go get a real job ( he got made mad and said that this was a real job ) told him that he was a scammer and told he to go F....off  and hung up on him . I'm so sick and tired of these creeps calling at odd hour.
Waking up a sleeping baby and my husband that gets up at 4:00 am.  SOME ONE NEEDS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS ....THESE SCAMMERS OUR OUT OF CONTROL

Received a call this afternoon.  I didn't answer, but when I didn't say anything "goodbye" was left on my answering machine.  When I called back, I got a fast busy signal. Number is now blocked.

Received a call at 10:15 PM.  Called said he was from Windows and he was getting a report from my computer.  When asked why he was calling so late at night, he swore at me and hung up.  How can we put a stop to these calls at all hours of the day and night?

Called at 10:30 at night and when I picked the phone up there was silence. I hung up. So frustrated with these callers and not being held accountable.

Just got a call from them at 11pm!! I answered thinking it had to be important/emergency being so late. A woman with an Indian accent said something about my computer and I stated to her that it was 11 and she said she knew it was late and then she hung up.

Called last night at 10:12....didn't answer, but thought 800 numbers weren't supposed to call after 9:00!!!

Called me yesterday, gives a run-of-the-mill, boy-next-door type of name. Heavily accented Indian man. He stated he was calling from Windows, and began his spiel, telling me my system has been hacked. I told him I have never received a call from Microsoft before and that I thought he was the hacker. He tells me that they (meaning Windows) had sent notifications to my computer for weeks now, and I had ignored them. I argued with him that I had not received a single notification. He had the license ID for my computer, and thought that was enough identification to make all my qualms go away. He has me pull up the event viewer, showing me that, yes, I do have warnings, etc. (He underestimated my ability to read. They are script errors, etc.) He sends me to this website, which auto installs TeamViewer. He wanted access to my computer pretty badly because once that thing helped itself right onto my computer, the handy little screen shows "Incoming Connection" then "Validation Failed". He puts his "supervisor" on the phone. I wasn't on hold or anything, he literally passed the phone to him. He basically tells me they will turn my computer into a dust-collecting paper weight if I don't let them "help me get the hacker out of my computer" and that I would be charged with internet crimes for whatever this imaginary hacker does while "controlling" my computer. I told them to call back at 1 p.m. because I didn't have time for them right now. I used my downtime from idiots to call Microsoft myself, and my daughter was Googling information on this number. They didn't call back at 1 p.m., but at 8:44 this morning (10-13-16) and from a different number. Today's caller ID read: Campbell, Roger 701-797-2271. He asked me if I remembered him, and I said yes, I was so glad they called back. He always is forceful and loves to talk over you. I said to him that I was not falling for his scam, that I had spoken to Microsoft. He said I didn't understand the severity of the situation. I hung up after telling him that I would not be falling for his scam.  TeamViewer was removed from my computer by myself.

I received same call, guy said his name was Alex from Windows. Said he was a certified Technicians and wanted me to follow his command accessing some stuff on my computer.  He got upset when Zi asked him questions, I told him he was a scam and not to call my number again.  Blocked Call!

Not this number ,but a Microsoft tech calling that I had computer problems.  I asked him what my ISP was to which he asked what was ISP.  I told him that computer techs would know that answer.  Then gave him a few choice words and laughed him while hanging up.  DNC does not work expect for legit businesses.  these guys are full of it.

Late night calls two nights in a row from this number.  When I answered no one responded.  I waited and then it seemed like an automated voice said "goodbye,"  It felt as though someone was checking to see if anyone was at our number

called at 1045PM - I asked why she was calling so late! She said call was urgent and  She stated the same thing as the others - stating that my computer was being hacked at this moment and blah blah blah - my husband took the phone and demanded that she give him her home address and phone number repeatedly, she finally hung up -  broken English.  We called the phone number back and it was not available
