This number was on my credit card activity sheet. They took 49.50 from my card and I believe it is a scam.

I too am a victom of this scam they have also taken 49.50 out of my accout as well and made my account negative and it's christmas time there are other things I've purchased so now my gifts may go back because it won't be covered or I will have to suffer a large over draft free with my bank! PISTED OFF AND FLUSTRATED TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL.

YEP same thing on my card.. but for 58.61 and My cap-one found it and froze my account - all of my online gift orders have been declined .... not good

NOTE I called this number - she says this place sells magazines and gave me a new number... 866-446-9477  I called this one and got a voice mail box.... hmmmmm... this is a major scam at 50.00 a pop... figure you need to call your card's fraud dept and start over....

Yup!  Fraud!  This showed up on my account and I caught it while it was still pending.  Reported the charge as a possible fraud charge and will be happy to file charges.  I'll see how it goes.

Number appeared with unauthorized $2.95 credit card charge. Claims to be collection agency. Gathers SSN, address and birth date. Background music is similar to Indonesian. Supervisor named Alex speaks USA english. Stated charge was for cd. Gave 8664469477 as merchant charging. That number said follow-on monthly charge would be $58.61 for music cds and gave IP address of 72.23.117.47 as person ordering music. Gave me cancellation number.

USA Grants - they claim this is a valid charge because i tried to get some grant information online.  They fail to clearly state that it will automatically subscribe you to some service that is useless if you don't cancel in 7 days.  They also charge a foreign transaction fee ranging from .40 cents to a dollar.  I tried to contact the company and got the run around from someone named Mrs. Smith?  Yeah right.

Easy USA grants.. They charged around $ 60 on my account.. The phone gets disconnected after couple of rings.. I filed dispute about this with my bank and lets see how it goes.. I am so pissed right now.. I never heard about them before. and I was wondering how the hell they got my credit card info!

I remember they called me on my cell phone. They ask me if I received any information material. They hung up on me as soon as I denied. This was couple of days before they charged my credit card.

Came back from 2 weeks of vacation to find these charges. One for $1.95 and 6 days later, a second for $58.61.  I think there's a foreign transaction fee on top of that as well.  Thanks to your listing, I didn't even bother to call the 800 number but go directly to my credit card.

I did not authorize any charge from this phone number is a fraud.

saw the charge, called the number, stayed on hold forever, then hung up and called my card company.  RIP - OFF!!

Happened to me also. I'm disputing with Capitalone. We'll see.

As with another post, first charge for $1.95 on 11/26, second on 12/3 for 58.61. Contacted Capitalone. Will refund both charges. I'll monitor account each day. If happens again, will close this card, and receive new card/new number. Already contacted any debits and changed cards. I belong to Lifelock, and notified them.

How does one fight this?!!  I was charged $58.61 on my account.

I had to ccancel my debit card.  I did not authorize Easy USA grants to take withdrawals from my account every month.  My bank was very helpful with the entire process.  However, I will be without a debit card for 7 days.
