I wonder how many phone numbers this company is using. This one is just one of many others.

I keep receiving calls from this number too, they do not leave a message and if you answer, nobody is there.

These calls are frivalous, irritaing, and a total waste of my spare time. Something must be done.

They are too chicken to leave a message or talk when you answer.  That is so they can sit there all day and get credit so their supervisor will think they made contact with the person on their list.  These people need to get a real job.  These are people who can't and won't advance themselves into getting a decent job so they have to resort to a worthless job like this that goes nowhere.

another recording from NCO. do they really think we are going to return calls?

Automated call center called my cell phone left recorded message from some kind of computer requesting I call them at 800-842-0640.  When I did I went straight to music hell hold then call was answered maybe after five minutes.  The recording said to call back later as everyone was busy and I couldn't leave a message.

Didn't leave message - only shows up as a 800 # on my caller ID, but I know this number; it's NCO Financial.  NCO Financial is a Medical Debt Collection Company used by Stanford Medical Center in CA, among other Hospitals.  I do owe a considerable amount of money to Stanford for a surgery that I had in 1/2005, but I have been on a payment plan for a few years, slowly paying this down. It was a $25,000 debt that I have down to about $21,000 so far.... I haven't missed any payments (at $100 a month), so if this account has been turned over to collections, why do I continue to get my statements from Stanford? NCO call two, three or four times a day on my two phone numbers (cell and home) but they never leave a message!  I am still not gonna call them back.

This is a Collection Agency NCO for medical collection. Do not give out your work number to creditors or doctors office because when you miss a payment they will quickly send it to NCO to harrass.
