Left message about a home loan deal. I called to tell them never call me again. It turned out to be some bogus cruise prize and they needed a credit card number for the port fees. I suppose an honest person need not have a home phone anymore.

Left a msg on my cell stating they can get me a lower percentage rate on my mortgage and to call them back.  Even left a reference number but never once said what company they were calling from.  Don't plan on calling back since I haven't applied anywhere for a loan recently.

On March 31st, 2014, I received a message on my telephone answering machine saying " This is Dale Parker calling about your mortgage application. We have your application on file and would like to go over your application with you. Please call us at 1-800-842-1232. You can speak to me or my assistant." But, he did not state the name of his firm;  Nor did I apply for a mortgage loan.

I got the same message.  Called back and nobody answered; went to a busy signal after 5 rings.  Then I thought I'd check, because I had no applied for a mortgage loan either.  Call came in a 4:22 PST, April 1, 2014.  Somebody just tried calling me again.  Probably (I thought he said his name was Derek) Parker again.  Let it go to the machine.  Probably telemarketing for something.  

4/8/2014 @ 10:35 - received call which was a recording stating to press "1" or call them back at 1-800-842-1232 regarding my mortgage application. As other posters have stated, I have not applied for a mortgage in years.

left a message about a mortgage application and having to go over some credit things.   Call back and talk to him or his assistant.  No mention of a company, I have not applied for a mortgage.  I believe he said he was Eric Parker.
I called back from another phone, just a busy signal.
