THESE A**HOLES CALLED 6 TIMES IN A ROW.. AND JUST HANG UP, SO I RETURNED THE CALL,,, THEY SAID SOMETHING THAT WAS HARDLY IN ENGLISH ABOUT BEING "DIRECT DIRECTORIES"  THEN SAID "YELLOW PAGES INTERNET" AND OF COURSE, I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY DO, I JUST WANT THEM TO QUIT CALLING.. SO I'M OFF TO WASTE MORE TIME REPORTING THEM TO THE  DO NOT CALL REGISTRY

We got 10 - 12 calls between 4:45 and 5:10.  I'd pick up and they'd hang up.  I just thought it was some kids, so I didn't do anything except unplug my phone for the night.  Next day 11am I received 2 calls, same deal, and used *69.  I called this number and a lady picked up.  I told her that I was receiving calls from this number and the people were just hanging up.  She actually tried a sales pitch, "Well, they were probably trying to tell you about..."  I told her that I wasn't interested and that I wanted my number off of their list.  She told me that she would do that.  I haven't gotten a call again....although it is only 3:30, so we'll see if it rings at 5pm again.

I am receiving 3-4 calls a day from this toll free number.  Very annoying for my business.  Now to a point of hanging up on it immediately.

They call everyday, at least once. Only have had a person on the other end of the line once. Asked questions about our phone number and address. They aren't even calling our primary business line, but one of our secondary ones. Even though I gave him the correct phone number they have continued calling.  Just gave them a call back after another "dead line" call. Woman was actually very polite and said she'd remove our number. I intend to call them back after every time they call here if we're not removed.

I called and actually spoke to Adam.  There are many centers with predictive dialers and they are somehow screwed up somewhere.  I indicated that we were being damaged by the calls and they were on notice to remove us.  I also called back the 800 number and finally got someone and also asked to be removed.

Adam indicated that this was not news to them and they were working on it.  He asked for patience.  He was very courteous.  I indicated that we had no more tolerance on these calls.

If this persists, it is probably grounds for a class action suit.  If everyone did what these people are doing, no one would get any work done.

Furthermore, why would anyone want to get directory services from a company that acts like this.

I've been getting phone calls from this same number and to me this is considered harassment.  It is USDirectory.com and I sent them a support ticket requesting my number be removed immediately from their files or I will file a lawsuit against them for harassment.

I recieve calls from this number twice a day, sometimes more.

Received call from this number.  No one responded.  I put it on mute and kept the line going.  Finally after about 20 seconds the caller disconnected the call.

I am sick of the interruptions as well with nobody on the other end. They call 3 - 6 times a day. I reached a boiling point and screamed into the phone..........made me feel better :)
WE are on the do not call list, but seems to not work!

I am becoming quite annoyed at the multiple times per day that I receive a call from 800-842-1499.  It is coming through to either one of the following numbers:  706-233-8556 or 770-386-9442.
I want it to stop immediately!

Have observed these calls on my caller id from 800-842-1499.  They have been calling every day, for what seems like months.  I followed the advice here to call 561-989-7400 to request my number be taken off their list.  After going to a couple different operators, someone took my number and said it would take a week.  Took five minutes, could have been worse!  I shall hope for the best; perhaps everyone's efforts here are working, to make this company reform its careless habits.

Called our business on my boss's line and I picked it up.  Said hello, the uusal, then there was silence, that pause, then I heard voices in the background like telemarketers who said nothing and hung up.  Got on here like I always do to see if anyone had this experience.  So glad when I see a num that at least has an explanation.  Thanks for whoever starts these!  You rock! (Not the telemarketers, they suk!)
