called at 10:41 am - no message left

Got a message from this number..  "This is Centerpoint energy..  It is important that you contact us today at 800-842-5260."  I called the number and talked to someone from Centerpoint; he didn't know why I was contacted, and said it must have been a mistake.

Got a call from 800-842-5260 that said "connected" but no one would answer me.  I hung up and called it back.  It was Centerpoint Energy asking for my account number.  I said I don't know, you called me.  I gave the phone number that I had just gotten two weeks ago.  They apologized.  They were looking for the previous owners of the number. Someone evidently owes them money.

This phone number has called every day for the last 2 weeks almost every hour 8 to 10 times a day, never leaving a message, when I try to call back it says that it has no mail box. I wish they would STOP.

This number calls me every hour on the hour for 14 hours EVERY day!! I am fortunate enough to have a call blocker that just hangs up when they call, but it rings once and that is really annoying. You would think they would give up after a while. <sigh> I have no idea who it is but I don't want to talk to someone who is that aggressive.

This number calls many times a day and at night.  According to my phone counter, 21 times before noon each day. After that, I don't bother to look in the evening.  No message is left. All I get when I return the call is "You cannot reply to this message because sender does not have a mail box."  This is very annoying.  And I don't answer unknown callers.

...And...This number has been call for over a month now.

Tried to do a number search on several sites, but no info could be found due to it being an 800 number.

This is one of many numbers used by Credit One bank.

Never leaves a message and when you try to call back keep saying no mailbox set up and keeps hanging up

same here - yesterday it was 11 times - does anyone know how to block them from Vonage?

finally picked up and a guy with an eastern indian accent  asked for my name. told them they had the wrong number, he then asked how long i have the number for and then told me i would be removed from the list.   wanted to ask who they were so bad but was afraid it would look suspicious.

They call every day around 8 am in the morning.  Caller ID lists them as Centerpoint energy.  But when I call back it says they have no mailbox.  Never leaves a message, just calls every day.

16 calls yesterday.  2 by 9:00 am today.  Credit one bank looking for an ex.  I have tild them this but they keep calling.  Becoming a little vexed

I have been receiving calls from 8008425260, when I answer they are asking for someone that I have never ever heard of, I have told them this over and over and asked to have my number removed from their list. They have failed to do so, and are still calling me 4+ times a day.  I just finished filing a complaint again them with the Federal Trade Commission. I would suggest that everyone else do the same in hopes that we can get these harassing calls stopped. To file a complaint go to www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov in the top right corner of the page "Click here to file a complaint with the FTC" and file out the form, it only takes a few minutes of your time.

File a complaint with the FTC, if enough people do so, we might be able to get the calls stopped. I am getting calls from them, asking for someone I dont even know.
