Gentleman asked to speak to my wife referring to her by her first and last name.  Since we've been getting a rash of calls claiming she applied for information via the internet, which she has not, I asked if this was one of those calls.  He affirmed that it was, I asked hime to remove our number from his call list.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. Said I won a cruise and had 18 months to decide something in. That's when I hung up on it.

A lady called and said there was a promotional deal where i would get a free cuise to Bermuda and all i had to pay was the $60 "leaving the country tax" and all she needed was a major credit card number to sign me up for up to four people anytime in the next 18 months. Doesn't sound legit.

Got a 3rd call now.  My daughter just handed me the phone and the guy on the other end of the line said she won a cruise just before I hung-up on him.  Probably should have told him to not call back.

Jess, I just got the same phone call! I guess I was asking too many questions cause I got passed along to three different people. I asked if I could call back in a few hours, since I wanted to check this out, and he got really offensive and rude. I told him to relax, and this shouldn't get him so upset that it would ruin his day. You have to think, if the $60 is for government port taxes - to leave the country - why would you pay that now and not when you actually book the cruise up-to 18 months from now. Wouldn't that amount change? I asked for them to send me something...and email..a mail package something to tell me "I WON!" (as they so excitedly exclaimed. They said I would have to pay them first. Are you kidding me??? digging a little deeper with my "supposedly uncomfortable amount of questions and knowledge" of how cruise work, they just got angry at me. Bah...next step..I'm calling the cruiseline customer service.

I got the same call, but I seemed to miss the call or ignored it. When I finally decided to pick and see what the deal was, they said the same thing about a promotional rate and up to 4 people and $60 government boarding fee. When I told the guy I had to wait til friday to get paid, he was really quick to get off the phone. Free cruise my @$$.

Same call here.. but it was a recording to tell me to call them back at the same number they called me from (1-800-842-7504)
I supposedly won a cruise that I applied for on the internet (I did no such thing) I will NOT be calling them back, and hopefully they will not be calling me back either.

Same info here.  Have had two calls and messages during the last two days.  We let the machine pick up such numbers and only answer if it's a company we know.  This one is not so they will just have to keep talking to the machine until they give up.

I just got the same call and this time they left a message about a cruise. Normally the calls come in and no one leaves a message. This has been going on for weeks and is incredibly annoying.

Just received my third call to my cell phone from this number purporting to be a travel agent. I think I got this number once that talked about online college classes, but I had erased the number so don't know for sure. I have received a from a couple other unknown numbers numbers recently, but they haven't called back. Now, I just let unknown numbers go to voice mail. Is there some way to block these calls? My manual only addresses blocking all calls that aren't in my contacts list.

I posted a note earlier today. Since then I have accessed the government Do Not Call Registry online (www.donotcall.gov) and registered my cell phone number. Telemarketers are required to clean up their call lists every 31 days.  After your phone is registered for 31 days, if you are still receiving unwanted calls from this number, you can go online and file a complaint. In the meantime, answer the next time they call and ask to be removed from their list. That may take care of it. I'm going to try.

Received my last call from these people March 5. When I saw the number on the phone ID I picked up and a man said I had won a cruise. Yep, same people. I quickly but firmly told him to remove my number from their list and that I had already registered with the government's Do Not Call List. He seemed flustered, and I hung up. No more calls.

It's a scam - don't call them unless its to tell them to F-off.
